This tool belongs and every trade person's toolbox.
As an electrician, my expertise typically lies outside the realm of measuring air pressures. However, while working on industrial burners, I encountered a situation where verifying the safety circuit became paramount. In that instance, the precision of this meter not only proved invaluable but also justified its cost with just a single use. Its capabilities transformed a routine task into a critical safety check, ensuring that everything operated smoothly and securely.

Make sure you have a snug fit with your tubing
This is a basic unit that is simple to use and easy to read. I needed it to calibrate an ERV. I originally had a very hard time getting a stable reading and even using some stuffing around the tubing to make a better seal didn't help. I bought some natural latex tubing that had a better seal which made things much better and repeated readings were stable. The magnet in the back was very handy to affix the meter in a good location so my hands were free to make the adjustments. I have a second and bigger ERV to install but I'm confident that calibration will go smoothly. If I had to complain about something, it would be the case. It's pretty cheaply made and doesn't really have a good layout for the meter and tubing. But it does it's job.

Zero
Have to zero it before every use. Direction are not the best. Took awhile to learn to trust it. Not as good as my old Fieldpiece
