We purchased a used car, and the lady had cats. She seemed to have let these cats live in her car or something, as every time I got in the car, a large poof of cat smell would knock you out. After vacuuming out the car, and wiping down every surface, the cat smell still persisted. Upon following the directions, running the A/C for 15 min with the car bomb, then running the A/C again really helped. Now the car has a new car smell, and the cat smell is finally gone! Thank you

This is a really pleasant interior refresher, but I would not describe it as a “new car” scent. Instead, it has a clean, subtle cedar-like smell that feels fresh and refined. Definitely not a flowery or bathroom-style spray, which I really appreciate. The scent is noticeable without being overpowering, and it left the car smelling clean and well-kept. Both my wife and daughter commented on how good it smelled, which says a lot. It’s the kind of scent that feels upscale rather than artificial. The only downside I worry about is it's longevity. In my experience, the scent has lasted about a month before fading (you can still smell it in the vents). Even with that limitation, I liked it enough that I may put it on subscription because it smells that clean and pleasant.

HOLY SMOKES! Or shall I say, ”Holy no more smokes!” I’m an ex-smoker, who absolutely HATED the way my car smelled after quitting. My nice new car smell like an ashtray. It also smelled like milk that my son had spilled, and he had gotten car sick a few times. I recently had to be the driver to a family event, and didn’t want my Dad being grossed out. I didn’t have time to get my car detailed, so I ordered this and hope for the best. It’s AMAZING! I detailed my car myself first. Removed everything out of it, vacuumed it, and wiped down the interior. I followed the directions and let it sit in the car with the windows shut and AC blowing for 15 minutes. I think the can must have run out before the time was up, because it wasn’t spraying when I opened the door (not sure how long it actually “fogged” for). I let the car air out, and was super impressed at how good it smelled. It has a classic Meguiar’s new car scent. I was afraid it would be too heavy or perfumey…. the last thing I wanted to do was give people a headache. It has a very crisp, clean scent. It’s seriously smells like fresh air!! It’s been 3 week and I still smell it coming through my air vents! Absolutely no smoky smell anymore, and every other odor has been eliminated. The first thing my dad said when he got in the car was “Wow! You got your car detailed, didn’t you?!” 😉 ha! I highly recommend this! I plan on doing it again in a month or so. Perfect for using in newly purchased used cars, or if you need to remove smoke/kid/pet odors. Hope this helps! ☺️

This worked okay, but it wasn’t the best odor eliminator I’ve used. The new car scent is pleasant at first, but it didn’t last very long and didn’t completely remove stronger odors. Easy to use and fine for a quick refresh, just don’t expect miracles. Decent product, but there are better options out there.

I bought a used vehicle that was almost new, except a faint mildew-y smell. I have wiped down every surface multiple times and tried air fresheners, deodorizers, essential oils, hypochlorus acid, etc, and some helped but very faintly. And the heavy scents of the air fresheners were giving me such a headache every time I got in the car. I really just wanted the car to not have a smell - like an actual new car. I just wanted a neutral, odor-free car that didn’t make my head throb. This stuff WORKED. I used as instructed and I’m shook. Even my kids noticed. It is definitely the best “new car” smell I’ve experienced. It’s a very delicate leather-like smell, with the absolute faintest touch of vanilla. It’s seriously why I imagine a new-off-the-lot luxury car would smell like. If you’re searching for something to help your car smell like nothing in the best way, this is what you need!!

this is a great product for getting rid of awful smells in your vehicle. My new vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke, and this did the trick the first try.
