Blue Blackout Yeti + Watch_Dogs 2 PC: The Ultimate Streamer Bundle

I purchased this for my wife as a Christmas present. The microphone is absolutely amazing. It's crystal clear and works exactly as it should. There are several reviews that are more in depth with audio testing, but I just wanted to write a short review to let you guys know my thoughts. Blue Microphones are simply amazing and I highly recommend them if you do any audio recording. Whether its for streaming, youtube, singing, gaming, skype calls, regardless of what it is that you are doing, this product is the PERFECT solution. The bonus that it included watch dogs 2 was even better. Great mic and a great company. As always amazon had fast shipping. Zero issues and I will probably be picking one up for myself :)

First off watch dogs 2 was a great game definitely worth a play though now on to the mic, The blue yeti is amazing the quality is unreal i actually love this mic there is nothing wrong with it i set mine up with a foam windscreen and a scissor arm stand my fans on YouTube also said the quality was very good so... In conclusion this price is worth the mic and watxhdogs as well but if you dont want watch dogs the mic by itself is very Dank.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! The microphone itself is awesome, but this listing shows the microphone AND watchdogs game for the PC. It did NOT come with the game or download code anywhere.

No matter what settings I change on my PC I have never been able to play the microphone through the speakers via Settings/ Sound/management/blah blah blah... However headphones through the mic base works great.. So my plan to work around is to plug my Klipsch 2.1 ProMedia speakers into the headphone jack on the microphone. Yet if I do that, will plugging POWERED speakers into a POWERED headphone jack wipeout my subwoofer via overload? Drawback if it works? No sound to speakers for PC without swapping jacks... That was just feedback with set-up. On the other hand, what a wonderful quality product! No matter what, I love my Yeti Blackout....

Hey Im fairly new to these reviews but don't critique to much. So as the caption states for this review it is a good overall microphone that has very small issues that make it unusable for some individuals like me that have specific needs. So the reason this microphone in my opinion is slightly bad is because it is 1. The weight and size is unreal! The microphone has way to much weight and is to large for how little it contains inside and it makes it difficult to find boom arms and shock mounts that support it without sag. 2. Some micro phones contain defects with the mounting hole at the bottom which makes it impossible to mount it to a boom arm or shock mount. 3. Build quality is sub par. My microphone came with some chiped of paint on the base of the microphone and the top part where the condenser capsules are located. Those are all the cons I could identify. Now located below is a pros and cons list. Pros -------------------------- 1. Lots of features 2. Price is ok 3. Easy Setup Cons ------------------------- 1. Weight and Size 2. Defects are hell 3. Build quality 4. Lack of mounting options

Great microphone and got it at a great price with Watch Dogs 2 bundle. Cheaper than standalone. Very sharp looking, works great with Mac OS X and Garageband and good passthrough for headphones. Can be used to record instruments or podcasting easily.

Although the sound quality is good. I am very disappointed with the fit and finish of my particular mic. The Mode adjustment knob is severely misaligned and does not point the to the proper setting. The Gain and volume knobs are very VERY difficult to turn. I have a serious gripe about the mute button. My opinion is that mute should be red when enabled, and off when not in use. Instead it is red at all times and flashing red when enabled. I was not surprised when I saw CE on the bottom of the package, (China Export) The quality assurance on mine was not there. Maybe it was made on a Friday.

Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. I bought this bundle (blackout yeti + Watch_Dogs_2) on sale for $100, a great bargain for a $116 dollar microphone and a $60 game. I use the yeti primarily for communication in games like Overwatch and TF2 along with other applications like Discord and Skype. The microphone performs very well for all of these uses and can pick up my voice loud and clear from where I sit (approximately 2 feet away, I just had to turn the gain up- dial on the back). Along with how clean and "fancy" it looks this mic is an absolute steal, even at full price. When combined with the game, I don't see why one wouldn't at least consider this bundle. If you're looking for a microphone that is easy to use, can be used for just about ANYTHING and is being sold for a fair price, then this is the one for you!

Work as expected. Picks up sounds beautifully. Multi Directional control for increased or reduction of ambient sound pickup. As others mentioned, sensitive to small background noises like keyboard clicks. Can be placed far away (off screen) due to its sensitivity.

Amazing quality and sound! No background noises and can detect your voice across the room! Also, when only music is playing in the background, it won't be picked up as well as any echos.

Came with a bent wire (no other usb cable would work) which eventually killed the microphone due to short circuiting
