I've never had good luck creating neat, fitted cutouts for db connectors, so I decided to give these a try. They work great! I also used 5-pin versions to connect the arduino in the control box to USB. I was a little worried that cutting a USB cable and soldering this on would cause problems, especially with shielding, but it works great! I'm glad I didn't have to cut a USB-sized hole in the box, or use a panel mount USB connectors (which were big an ugly).
