Lock and Love Women's Casual Comfy Stylish High Waist Flare Long Maxi Skirt – Available in Print & Solid Options

I wasn't sure about the sizing for "Lock and Love" as this is my first purchase with this brand. I have purchased/tried at least 12 different brands off Amazon in the last 2 years, and by far, this is one of the best ones so far for quality. Stitching looks good, no loose threads upon first inspection. Smells neutral (no awful chemical smells). I ordered the Lilac color and its is just as pictured online. Also love the feel of this material, its soft and drapes nicely. I am 5'-8" and long waisted so this hits right around my belly button and doesn't drag on the floor in flat shoes. I ordered both the Medium and the Large via Prime (for free returns) at the same time to compare sizing. The large seems better for me for lounging and will suit my needs better, however, the Medium also fit, it was just a bit tighter in waist for me. I have a 33" waist currently, but as most women know, that can fluctuate. The waist elastic is about 1-1/2" which I like, personally, as it won't roll or slip long-term or after multiple washings. Seam at bottom of skirt is simple and such that it likely could be shortened by your local dry cleaner or seamstress if too long. I prefer breathable materials with some stretch but finding the Amazon Deals with garments made of 100% Polyester (or mostly poly) are really only good during winter months. If humidity is high, I won't wear the poly stuff. Also I may steer clear of Poly as they are pilling quicker than the model garments. This will be perfect all year round. I plan on only wearing around my house/deck/garden. Material is thin and flowy, so while it is not clingy, it does drape and show muscular tone, so if that bothers you, don't wear in public. I am an athlete and really just want a flowy skirt for around the house. Inside label reads: 95% MODAL 5% SPAN HAND WASH MACHINE WASH IN COLD WATER DO NOT BLEACH LAY FLAT TO DRY DRY CLEAN IF NEEDED MADE IN PHILIPPINES

I have been searching for a maxi skirt that I could wear as a maternity skirt as an over-the-belly midi skirt and it’s been much more difficult than expected. The waistband on this skirt is perfect. The waistband is smooth elastic all the way around and has a nice clean edge wherever you decide to wear it allowing it to be worn for less casual occasions. Other skirts often have thick ruching or drawstrings that look really informal and often give the appearance of extra weight. This skirt is super soft with good stretch and a flattering drape unlike the boho style skirts I kept trying. This also makes it a perfect multi-season skirt, too. It breathes well for spring or summer, but doesn’t look “beachy” so it can be worn in colder weather, too. It’s still pretty thin, so I wouldn’t be comfortable in below freezing temps without tights. (Static likely??) It doesn’t have quite as much stretch as all my other size small skirts and fits noticeably tighter but still comfortable enough. Normally I wear small in all my Amazon skirts at my baseline of 5’6” and 125 pounds. At 32 weeks pregnant in this photo, I’m 146 pounds. I ordered a small.

I'm 5’8 165lbs and ordered the medium. It’s not ankle length, it was about an inch or two shorter than I would’ve preferred but not a deal breaker. The waistband was so tight though! This is not a skirt I’ll be reaching for on a day I’m bloated because it was uncomfortable. However it’s at least it’s not shear and it is pretty so I’m keeping it.

these are nice. soft fabric that gives to curves and doesn't wrinkle. I'm a curvy girl and i feel pretty in these. (think jessica rabbit vibes). it's easy to clean and the fabric allows easy flow for unhindered movement. the skirt goes all the way to my ankles. it does not have pockets, but I knew that buying it.

I am 5'5" and weight approx. 155lbs. I purchased a size large initially. It fit perfectly everywhere except for the waist. The waist fit like a size small. I returned and ordered an XL. That fits like a Medium. To be comfortable around my waist I think I would need to order a 2 or 3xl. Buyer beware....order multiple sizes up if you have anything but a perfectly flat stomach! Other than that, the skirt is soft, flowy and (in black) very opaque. Would highly suggest if not for the waist sizing.

Run and buy this skirt!! It’s soooooo stretchy, soft and not see through at all! But it’s jsut a light airy skirt so buttery smooth! Absolutely love this skirt and will be buying more! You can dress it up or down! And I have a husky so he sheds a lot I jsut shook my skirt off a couple times and all the hair come off incredibly easy!! Well worth the price! For sure! It sadly doesn’t have pockets but it’s still worth the buy!! I am 5’4 and 205 so I’m chunky lol but it seems so slimming and I got an xl, I’m an hourglass shape as well!

So disappointed. I bought this skirt after careful consideration. However, when it arrived,I could see immediately that the size was not true. I ordered a 3X. I opted to go up a size just in case and it was at best a medium .There is NO WAY this is a triple X. There is no stretching it out either. I purchased this skirt and was exited to open it only to find,it was NOT true to size! I am so disappointed as I have a function that I would have worn the long skirt. The material is very lovely and super soft. The length is on the longer size. If the waist band was bigger and true to size it would be perfect. I have since read the reviews and find I am not alone on how small they run.Why can’t items be a standard true to size! We plus size girlies are needing a change in standard sizes! I cannot tell you how hard it is to hunt,HUNT for a clothes item that will work. It’s already a painful ordeal trying on clothes when you are a plus size woman,now add to that starting a return,wait for the dollar amount to post to your account so you can reorder all while crossing your finger that THIS TIME it will be correct,and comfortable without squeezing you into two pieces!

It is very long. I'm 5'8" and it comes to my ankle bones. I did get a large for fear that it would be tight around my waist but I wish I would have gone with the medium. It would have made it better suited to wear high waisted rather than just on my hips. That said it feels like wearing pajamas Truthfully, I though it was boring when it came and meant to return it but now it's been more than 30 days. So, it's mine forever.

This skirt is amazing. Love the soft material, the length, and the way it drapes just below my ankles (5’8 1/2”). I am glad I ordered an XXL as the waist band is snug (185lbs). I do not find it to be see thru fabric as some customers stated. However, I wear a white or black slip (depending on color of my maxi skirts) to stop any static electricity issue. Personally, I find skirts/dresses (shorter or longer) hang better with a slip and prevent the clingy look. I’m very happy with this putchase
