The 4-way design is versatile—you can remove and replace valve cores, chase threads, and even ream the inside of the valve. Having four replacement cores included is a big plus, since leaky cores are a common cause of slow leaks. The tool itself is compact and feels sturdier than the flimsy plastic ones that come with sealant bottles. It’s small enough to keep in the glovebox or toolbox, which makes it convenient for emergencies. I’ve already used it on both car tires and a bike tire without any issues. That said, the thread-cutting feature isn’t as precise as I hoped—it will clean up rough threads, but don’t expect it to restore heavily damaged ones. This seems like a pretty sturdy and compact tool, so overall I feel favorable about it. I bought it specifically because I wanted to re-cut the threads on the outside of the valve stems. The threads weren't in terrible shape, but I was hoping that this device would noticeably clean them up (I have an air compressor that screws on, so I often notice if the threads are stubborn). I didn't find that using this made a noticeable difference, though, but I'm guessing if they were really messed up it probably would have made them useable. I can't really speak to the other functions, but I don't see why it wouldn't perform them fine.

Go ahead and get this and put it in your glove box, also opt for the SLIME Patch repair kit, I've found that these SLIME products are very well-made and designed for tires (even non-car tires like lawn mowers etc). You can also verify if your Hank Schrader valve is leaking by spraying some soapy water on it and checking for bubbles. Good product, and I appreciate how it's made out of a non-ferrous metal (assuming Aluminum by the looks of it)

You never know you need one of these until you need one. That was my case. Ordered this item and it came the next day. I had ordered a new set of tires and rims for my garden wagon from Amazon and one came with a bad valve. I could have just returned the tires and rims but thought this was the cheaper option. Great value.

Herramienta pequeña, resistente y muy funcional para válvula schrader o también conocida como válvula gorda. Yo en mi caso la compré para poderle poner Slime Sellador de Camaras a mi bicicleta. La verdad desconocía que el sellador en su tapa traía una herramienta para realizar el mismo trabajo, pero no me arrepiento de haberla comprado, ya que la calidad del removedor hace que valga la pena. Otro punto a considerar es el hecho que traiga 4 repuestos para tu válvula, en caso que alguna esté dañada.
