Don't listen to the reviews that say these don't float...they TOTALLY float! You have to let the clear water beads (a sample was included with a purchase) sit in water for about 8 hours (to give time to expand) then pour them into your clear vase place the large pearls into the clear beads so they are "staged" add-on more water and lights if you want to your vase and they appear to be floating. I tried a test run with mine and you can clearly see, the colored pearls look like they're floating...they are resting on the clear water balls which are virtually invisible when you cover them with water. See my picture. *If the colored pearls sink, then you've added too much water.
