Became part of my life.
These headphones are absolutely great. I seldom love products. These phones accompany me on all of my runs. I've owned my pair for nine months. I use them only for running, I run about 10-12 miles/week, year-round. I'm in the Northeast US, so I've run with these headphones in the heat of Summer, in the rain, and in the winter. The Sound is clear, and has the range and sound quality that you'd expect form a premium set of headphones. You hear everything in the high and low. Good bass, and the quality is good enough to distinguish poorer music recording styles. If you get a set whose sound you think is sub-quality, contact customer service. They're terrific. The fit. I've read about what people consider a poor fit in other reviews, but these fit perfectly and comfortably--like backward sunglasses. They rest on your ears. No pain, no unusual pressure. I forget that they're in place. They stay on, and they don't move. Because of that, I should disclose that I have a larger head, but this means that the fit should be tighter, and it isn't. I wear winter hats when running in the cold--over the headphones, and it's the same pressure and decent fit. If you;re like me and start music later in long runs, these are fine to wear silent from the beginning and fire up when you're ready. The Bluetooth connection works flawlessly, with one-touch on/off engagement with my iPhone. The volume control on the right side is convenient and responsive. The charge lasts easily as long as specified. It's rare that I have to charge up. They are lightweight, and collapse into their case easily. One of the ear pads that I had was somewhat fragile. I'd advise to keep them in their case at all times when not in use, especially when in a gym bag or in transit. The unit isn't heavy duty, but the case is.

Please read before buying.
Updating again to say that customer service is very good. They are paying to have the headphones shipped back, since they say they have never seen an issue like this before. They have issued me a full refund, which I am very grateful for. UPDATE!! I just had a very scary experience with these headphones. They completely died in the middle of a song, even though they were fully charged. Nothing I did was able to turn them back on. They were just dead. It was the same thing that happened with my last pair. I plugged them back in, since that was the company's advice the last time this happened. About a minute later, I noticed the charging light was no longer on, so I went to see what was wrong. As soon as I got close to them, I smelled burning plastic and quickly unplugged them. The burning smell was coming from where the charging cord inserts into the headphones. It was so hot that I burnt my finger trying to pull it out, and it would not pull out because it was actually MELTED into the headphones! (My husband was later able to pull the charger out, and I took some photos to show the melted plastic.) If I had plugged them in and walked away they could have easily caused a fire. Needless to say, I cannot possibly recommend these headphones any longer. They are great while they are working, but they are not worth the risk. I am awaiting a response from customer service, and will update with their response. Please DO NOT BUY!! See my accompanying video to verify my experience. ________ PREVIOUS REVIEW: Okay, I'm being cautiously optimistic here in rating these a 4. I really feel like this could be a risky purchase, given my initial experience (especially since they are asking over $100 for these headphones!). However - for now - this replacement pair is holding up well during my daily intense workouts. In fact, I love them (I'm just nervous they're not going to last) My initial set of these headphones fell apart within one day. The cushion on one of the ear pads separated and fell off after one use. I contacted the company, and they sent me 2 new ear pads. I had no more issues with the ear pads after that, and those headphones worked well for around a month. Then, for no discernible reason, they just completely died. No matter what I tried they would not turn back on. I contacted customer service again, and they gave me some instructions to try to fix them. Their instructions did not work either, so I asked for a refund. Customer service told me that since it had been over 30 days they could not issue a refund. I had no choice but to agree to them sending me a new pair instead (although I'm not exactly sure if they were brand spanking new, since they did not arrive in a box - they were simply placed inside their accompanying carrying case, put into an envelope, and shipped to me like that). So far this replacement pair has worked great, and I've had no issues after using them for a few months now. Bluetooth hooks up instantly. The battery life is amazing! I can get about a week's use out of one charge, and I use them several hours each day. As for the sound quality, these don't blow me away or anything, but it's definitely decent. One of the most useful features with these headphones is the app that you can sync to that allows you to adjust the sound to your liking. I use that app several times a day to adjust my headphones exactly the way I want them, depending on what I'm listening to. I use these as my daily workout headphones, and they get quite a bit of abuse! I love this style (around the head) the best for working out, because they never fall off no matter what I do. I did notice that the replacement pair fits tighter on my ears than my original pair. So, whereas my original pair never became uncomfortable no matter how long I wore them, this replacement pair starts to hurt my ears after a while. I wear these headphones for 2+ hours a day during my workout sessions, in a heated room with high humidity (like a hot yoga room). To say I sweat while wearing these is an understatement. Most days I am literally drenched in sweat the entire time I'm wearing them, and so far this second pair has held up great. I rated these a 4, despite the bad experience I had with my first pair, because: They do not fall off while working out They have held up to buckets of sweat The battery life is amazing The sound is very decent The app that allows you to customize the sound to your liking. It is extremely useful, and one of my favorite features of these headphones. These could be the perfect bluetooth sport headphones if this company could improve their quality and consistency. If they were better made, I would easily rate them 5 stars. But in my opinion, these do not feel like they were made to last, and they tend to be glitchy. Those issues are unacceptable for a $100+ pair of headphones. I honestly do not think they are worth that much. Although I do really like them and use them every day, I am not confident that these will last for very long. I will edit my review if I have any future issues.

Very solid product!
Used mostly with iPhone 6 Plus. I've had the original BTS 66 for a couple of years and believe, even to this day, that they are the best value in bluetooth headphones. I have many bluetooth headphones and even the much more expensive J-Birds I bought on the recommendation from friends. The original BTS 66 were far superior. Sound is much better, longer battery life and best design, imo, for a sport headphone (literally NEVER have to adjust during a workout!... which was a big deal for me). They weren't perfect, but were clearly my go to headphones for working out... until these. So when these came out, I was very curious to see what a more premium product from them would be like. Connection is instantaneous (unlike the original which required occasional turning on/off bluetooth from phone), sound is richer and can be customized (equalizer) with their app. After my first hour of use, I was a little sore behind the ears. But for some reason, this has not become an ongoing issue. They do, however, fit slightly tighter than the BTS 66. Never had any connection issues with this model no matter where on my body, and connection has also always been instantaneous after turning on. While not a big deal for me, as I usually have my phone on me when using these, however, I can leave my phone in the kitchen and go anywhere in my 4200 sf home with a solid connection (which I can't with any other bluetooth headset). Most importantly, the sound is excellent. Battery life has been phenomal. I work out ~4 times a week, about 1.5-2 hrs each time and haven't had to charge these yet in a month. This is beyond my need. I use these headphones for use with my iPhone, most of the time for working out and occasionally watching youtube etc, not for home theater or critical listenning. In summary, what I like: Hands down best design for working out, both running and weight training including lying on bench (I could never previously find a earbud or headphone that didn't require constant adjusting during a workout) Rock solid and instantaneous connection No skipping of music Very good sound more than adequate battery life (for me) As I mentioned earlier, I still think the BTS 66 are the best value in bluetooth headphones. For me, however, this is clearly the preferred choice as I appreciate the better sound, improved connection and better battery life for the premium price.

an audiophile's acceptable compromise
I'm an audiophile who has owned cans from Grado, AKG, Audio Technical, Ultimate Ears, Sennheiser, Jaybird, along with various headphone amps. Now that I'm married with wife and kid, they take up most of my time, so the above setups have become impractical and inconvenient. However, I'm pleased to report the sound quality from bluetooth headphones has substantially evolved when mated with the proper format. As my previous audiophile setups sounded great with CD's and lossless music, the BTS pro sounds perfectly matched when used with steaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify in addition to mp3's. I have tried several bluetooth earphones/headphones and the BTS Pro audiophile-like quality with the ability to tweet the sound to your liking with incredible battery life. Pros: 1. Amazing sound quality 2. Long battery life 3. Decent wireless range 4. Sweat Resistant 5. Useful companion app 6. No audio lag when watching movies, 7. More comfortable than in-earphones buds. 8. Compact and collapsible, folds into your pocket or included case 9. Beautiful quality case 10. Good for making phone calls in a non-windy quiet environment, or car with the windows up. Cons: 1. Not as comfortable as lush oversized cans for extended wear 2. Stock EQ may sound a tad bright with some tracks or genres 3. Plastic folding joints seems flimsy and unsure if they will last 4. You have to keep adjusting the position of the headphones on your ear until you find the sweet spot for optimal sound quality. 5. Phone calls are unclear to the person on the other end, while in noisy or windy environments. The following is an in-depth explanation of the pros and cons. SOUND SIGNATURE Note: you must continue to play with the positioning of the cans, while on your ears until you find the sweet spot. These sounded amazing when used with my iPhone 7 Plus and streaming Apple Music across all genres. The sound stage is wide with good instrument separation and lush forward vocals. Substantial but non-over powering bass response. With movies and certain tracks where I want a little more "oomf", I simply apply a bass boost from the firmware EQ via the companion app. There were a few tracks that sounded a bit bright, and I could hear a bit of hiss. The treble/highs frequencies can be a hair much. Again, easily adjustable. But I prefer the brightness for the most part, and it can sometimes reveal interesting nuances in your music. Sometimes when pausing the music observing a short period of silence when switching between apps, you can hear hissing. It doesn't bother me much. The quality of sound more than compensates. COMPANION APP The app is actually useful. Although the EQ spectrum of adjustability is limited, they focused on the proper frequencies in which it may be needed, thus making these cans virtually adaptable to suit anyone's liking. I prefer the stock sound, with occasionally turning on the bass boost. This is coming from a purest who doesn't like toying with EQ. They did it right. Additionally, you can also update the firmware. I think the "find your headphones" app feature is mostly useless; you can make your cans beep loud, so you can find them, but they must be already connected to your phone via bluetooth. The portion that utilizes GPS to determine where they were used last is ok. COMFORT I am not a fan of jamming small earphones into my ear or having to do some kind of anal origami to get them to stay on. Thankfully these wrap around your head, effortlessly. Although you do have to play with the positioning to get optimal sound quality. I'd have to say they are more comfortable than in-ears, but not as much as plush oversized cans. However, this is not much of a con as they're clearly advertised as an active phone. But practical and frugal me, still doesn't want to have multiple cans for different purposes. Also, you can't lay down with these, which drives me crazy because they sound that good, and i like to watch my shows in bed. BATTERY OMG, with all that amazing sound, comes amazing battery life. I've gone through long periods of not using them and they run great without having to recharge them. CONSTRUCTION Having mentioned not having to charge them often, brings me to the next part. The flap that covers the USB-C port is difficult to open. This could be fixed if they designed the flap with a tiny protruding ridge or tab (maybe a 1mm in size as not to take away from the aesthetic). This would allow you to pinch and pull open the flap with ease. As of right now, you need long finger nails to squeeze into a virtually non-existent gap to pry open the flap door. As i mentioned previously, the plastic joints leave me skeptical about the longevity of these cans. I question how many times you can collapse and unfold them before they snap. PHONE CALLS Yes these are advertised as active headphones, therefore noisy environments should be expected from the intended demographic. But for my uses, making phone calls is on the low list of priorities. Calls sound terrible in those conditions. However, if the person in the receiving end has difficulty hearing you in a quiet environment, check the mic hole to insure there's no obstruction, like lint. I have yet to find a part of wireless cans that can deliver clarity in a noisy environment. Again, they sound fantastic in the car and in quiet places. Despite my lengthy criticisms, I consider these essentially perfect for my needs. The pros outweigh the cons by a large margin. Whomever tuned these cans has a true passion for music, and it's evident. They sound good enough for an audiophile to consider leaving his tedious inconvenient setup without a blink of an eye, or the feeling of compromising on audio quality. They aren't cheap, but they aren't overpriced. You're getting more than your dollars worth with sound quality and versatility. If you're looking for that hidden underground gem that no one knows about, look no further.

Great Sound Qualtiy - - BUT Uncomfortable AND Poor Product Quality Control (Amazon or Manufacturer - Unknown?)
First off, the sound this sport headset produces is of a better quality than any other I've used. My standard is fairly high. I've ordered (and returned) at least 8 different headsets over the last 2+ years, each with its own set of shortcomings. Comfort is a big factor for me and, as I suspect it would be for most users. These are minimally adequate in my opinion. After wearing them in excess of 20 minutes I began experiencing considerable discomfort from pressure on the dorsal aspect of my pinnae (top of my ears), right where they attach to my head (the pressure point of the headphones). The pain intensified progressively over time worn and became almost unbearable after an hour of continuous use. While I can appreciate that everyone has slightly different anatomical parameters, which undoubtedly will produce some variability in individual comfort, it should be noted that my head viewed from the top is untypically round, not the more common oval shape (longer front to back). This suggests the distance from the back of my head to my ears is actually shorter than what is characteristic of most people on average. Thus, I would have expected these headphones to have spanned the distance to my ears without any significant issues, yet I find that they must be precisely placed in order to be correctly situated directly over my ears. If I didn't exercise considerable care with their physical placement, I would lose a good deal of its most appealing qualities, that is overall sound quality and clarity, as well as extraneous noise isolation, all of which became significantly degraded. When placed well, they do afford a realistic stereophonic effect of above average frequency range and overall sound quality for a sport headphone, and there is little noise intrusion from the surrounding environment. I use headphones to listen to NPR while walking, which is mostly the spoken word, so clarity without intrusion from environmental sources such as traffic noise is extremely important to me. So, repeating my opening statement, the sound quality I've experienced from these headphones is superior to any other sport headset I've owned. I just wish I could tolerate wearing them for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, I'm unable to wear them for the time required to finish my daily 4- to 5-mile walks without developing severe discomfort that becomes nearly unbearable, which severely limits their utility. If that were the only issue, I would still return them for a refund. Unfortunately, in my case, it was not the only issue. I wish to divulge that I ordered a "Used - Like New" Amazon Warehouse Deal and received flawed headphones... Though my past experience has been that such deals are often customer returns for reasons other than quality, thus affording the purchaser with a lower-cost option, this was not such an experience. The headphones were damaged to a degree that impaired their utility. The ear cushion pad on the right side of the headset as delivered was completely detached from the plastic supportive housing, calling into question just how comprehensive Amazon's inspection process might be when processing a returned item to be restocked in its warehouse. I do not know the source of the damage, whether it eluded the manufacturer's initial quality control or whether it was subjected to misuse by a previous purchaser. It's impossible to tell. Though it didn't prevent me from checking out the sound quality, the physical damage makes the headset totally unsatisfactory for extended use. As a result of the above, this headphone set is going back to Amazon. A Note about Durability: The above calls into question the long-term performance of all 66 Audio BTS Pro headsets. One would wonder if they are durable enough to remain intact over a long period of use or if there is a high failure rate. I queried owners through Amazon's "Ask a Question of the Community" function to ascertain if others have had longevity issues. If I receive answers suggesting further comment is appropriate, I'll add to my remarks here later. An aside regarding Amazon Warehouse Deals: This isn't the first time I've received a damaged or malfunctioning product as a result of ordering an Amazon Warehouse Deal, especially when designated "Used - Like New" or "Used - Very Good." Past experience suggests that items designated "Used - Good" followed with the notation "may have some cosmetic damage" often are, in fact, not physically damaged at all. There appears to be a practice on the part of Amazon to create a low level of customer expectation to guard against disappointment in the case that there exists some minor imperfection. By contrast, those designated "Like New" or "Very Good" may not actually have been tested for functionality but only be cleared for resale on the basis of cosmetic appearance, much as possibly those judged to be of lesser cosmetic condition routinely receive some other designation. It's entirely possibly that all such items judged "Like New" or "Very Good" may have been returned in a condition that, from all outward appearances seem to be undamaged and, thus, pass cursory visual inspection to be placed back in Amazon's inventory stream. However they may have, in fact been cleared for resale without actually having been tested for the presence of functional deficiencies. It is important to add that the above is simply speculative on my part, as I cannot say with any degree of assurance if my conjecture is accurate. It does, however, reflect my personal experience ordering numerous Amazon Warehouse Deals over several years. I'll likely continue to order Amazon Warehouse Deals because they afford me with considerable savings when it all works out as I'm sure Amazon intends. The inconvenience caused by the necessity of returning some items and reordering similar items again is insufficient to prevent me from advantaging myself of the lower cost when available. One must be patient if one considers this practice acceptable to whatever advantage and realize this is part of the process. Fortunately, Amazon accepts returns from its Amazon Prime members at no additional cost, so I incur no monetary cost other than the inconvenience of lost time and effort, which I consider to be minor. I recommend them to anyone wishing to avail his or herself of the potential savings.

I really like these headphones
These headphones sound great. I previously owned the BTS Sport which I really liked but they stopped working after a year. I contacted their excellent customer service and was promptly sent a new pair free of charge. Unfortunately these only lasted a year as well. I again contacted their customer support. I'm not sure if they would have replaced them a second time because I had already been thinking of upgrading to the BTS Pros. They gave me a pretty good discount on a new pair of the Pros. I hate ear buds, they don't fit me well and are not comfortable. I like over the ear that will block out some background noise but not noise cancelling so I can be somewhat aware of my surroundings. And they fold up so they are portable (and can fit in my gym bag). These sound better than the Sport, which sounded pretty darn good. I find them very comfortable (after a couple days break-in) and secure while I am at the gym. The phone interface works very well; I can answer calls easily and can hear the person calling very well (even with the gym background noise). I am told by the people I'm talking to that they can hear me very well even though I am not speaking loudly (in fact softly so I am not disturbing others) and there is background noise. I also love the interface with SIRI. I can tap the headphone twice which brings up SIRI and say "call Home" and it does, or "play{a certain song}" and it does. The Motion Control is pretty good. The equalizer does work pretty well and "find my headphones" can come in handy if you want to keep the GPS running but the headphones have to be on. So I love these headphones and hope they last longer than a year. With their free extended warranty I am protected for 18 months. So if they do get replaced after a year and I use them for 3 years, who knows what technology will be available then. But i'm pretty confident I'll be using these for quite a while. I really hope I do because I really like them. If not I will update this review

Defective Products & Poor Support
I received my first 66 Audio BTS Pro - BT headphones and was initially satisfied with the purchase. The sound quality was pretty good, they were good looking headphones, and there weren't any technical issues with them. The only things I would have complained about was that the headphones were a little tight around my ears and it was a little uncomfortable (granted, I have a very large head). However, 3 months later, the left headphone stopped working for no apparent reason. There was no water damage and I never dropped them. So I contacted support and they told me they would send me a new set of headphones and I would receive it within the week. Unfortunately, I did not receive them within a week. So I emailed support and asked them for an update on a Thursday. They replied and told me they had trouble getting it past customs (I live in the USA) and that it would be shipped to me early next week. But that didn't happen either. So I kept emailing support asking them for updates and I never got another reply. Suddenly about a month later, a new pair of headphones appear in my mailbox. "Well" I thought, "the customer service is incompetent but at least I got my new working headphones." Except, that after the first time I used them, I can no longer use the power button to turn them off. The power button works to turn them on, but I can't turn them off. The work-around I am using to turn them off is turning the Bluetooth of the device I am paring them with off, and when my headphones loose the connection to the device, they automatically turn off after about 4 or 5 minutes (draining battery). I am now very unmotivated to contact the incompetent support again. I'll just chalk this up to a loss. I didn't pay for a low quality headphone set. So I wouldn't recommend these headphones or this company to anyone.

Locked Up Repeatedly - Avoid These
First the good, which is the only reason they get more than one star - audio quality, battery life, and range are great. The meh: If you are a cyclist - wind noise on these will be pretty bad. That's to be expected with this type of design, but don't expect to take a call on them...even listening to a podcast is pretty horrible with the wind noise. The bad (aka why I returned these within a week): They worked flawlessly for almost a week, then, while out on a long ride I decided to switch the audio player on my phone from a podcast to Spotify, just the act of unlocking my phone locked the headphones up completely. I couldn't power down or reset with any of the buttons on the device. Having been rendered useless for the duration of the ride, I hummed angry songs to myself. After getting back to the house, just plugging them into the USB C charging cable instantly allowed them to be powered off and on, and again paired to my phone. Great, maybe that was just a fluke. The next morning, in the gym first thing, they again worked great until I unlocked my phone to check a message. AGAIN they completely locked up, and the only way to "reset" them was to plug them into the USB-C charging cable. After these two fails, I sent email to 66 Audio via their website support address, and didn't hear back from anyone for almost 36 hours. At that point, their suggestion was to leave them plugged into the USB-C for 24 hours...and then they have a firmware update that would fix any issues (note, these are just one week old and the first thing I did after installing the 66 Audio app on my phone was to check for firmware updates, of which there were none). Long story short, returned to Amazon and sticking with my older set of Jaybird X2s that just work. Having to plug into power to reset a locked up device simply won't work for me on lengthy bike rides. Based on the lengthy time to get an answer (if you call it that) from support, and the fails within less than a week, I couldn't recommend that anyone buy these - go with the JayBird X3 if you can tolerate ear buds versus over-the-ears.

Recomendables
