MIER Large Waterproof Duffel Bag - 60L/80L Dry Bag Backpack

10/10 recommend this bag. I travel offshore for work with it. Extremely waterproof (just make sure to seal it up tight.) Shoulder straps are comfortable and has very nice handles sewn on with good quality for an extra grab. The material is thick and very durable. The bag looks great, feels great, and overall works well for traveling. No problems at airport and always seems to do its job. Love this bag.

Good sized waterproof bag is great to have in hurricane-prone or flood zone areas. Lots of room and secure straps for closure ensuring contents stay dry. Can be carried as a backpack or duffle. Lacked instructions as to how to set up the many carrying straps which is why I gave a 4 star review.

We got these bags 3 years ago, black and green. They are awesome!! We initially got them for our road trips to put in the roof rack but have used them for camping too. They compact down with the straps and hold a ton of clothes. They are made really well and have little sign of even being used. One hint, fold the Velcro top in when you are getting clothes out so they don’t get snagged. Highly recommend these bags :)

This is exactly what I was looking for to put all my emergency go-bag supplies in. Waterproof seams, generous space inside with several internal pockets. Easy to attach straps with option for shoulder or back-pack setup. Handles on the ends of the bag for easy snatch and grab. Great purchase for the price.

The quality was much higher than I expected at the price point. Easily top tier camping/kayaking/outdoor high quality. I priced out similar bags at REI, Dicks, and Public Lands and compared the similar items ( 60l, Water Proof, Shoulder Strap, and Back Pack strap) and buying this is a no brainier. The other stores prices were $250 -$339. This product was $55. I am a little suspect of the buckles being plastic ( See picture) . But, worse case they break at some point it will be an easy fix because the sewn in mounting straps are well done and secure. They could easily be replaced with any metal buckle strap connector or oval carabiner. So this is not even a negative. I show this in picture. This is an interesting design as well. As a 60 l duffle bag you have the large bottom of 22.75" x 13.75" and depth up to 21" ( huge) carried by an over the shoulder padded strap. If you need it water proof as a duffle bag the top would need to be rolled over a few times and cinched with sewn on buckles so a depth of 13" - 15" waterproof. As a BACK PACK the bottom is basically 13.75" w x 15" and the height is the 22.75". It is comfortable enough as a back pack. I would not expect to use this as a long walk/hike pack if filled to 35+ lbs. or more. Car to boat, Car to picnic table, or car to < 1 mile campsite it works well for back pack. My expected use is to carry as a back pack with a portable battery powered Dewalt vacuum cleaner and the batteries. We gold prospect and the vacuum is used to clean crevices in bedrock. It is awkward to carry the vacuum and this will definitely make the trip to gold area much easier. The bag will also serve well for camping trips and on the kayak in the future.

Overall A nice heavy gauge Waterproof bag. However, why the designer chose to use some sort of goofy snap on the top straps is unknown. The usual snap on these bags is the snap lock buckle where a male sections slides inside a female section and snap locks into place, pinch the sides and they easily undo even if the straps are sinched down tight. They did use this on the side straps. This bag has some small flimsy slide together, not only very small and flimsy in appearance, but near impossible to take apart if you have the straps sinched down tight and you need to enter the bag. I got this bag to use for long distance motorcycle trips. I trialed it this past weekend, and quickly came to hate these new style buckles. I may send it back and shop for another that has the traditional style buckles.

The subject line really captures it all about this exceptionally durable, well designed and manufactured Meir large, waterproof duffle bag. I've bought four and gifted two. Very functional with well constructed zippers and adjustable backpack type harnesses. After years as an active duty military officer with travels to/through 67 countries, I heartily recommend this Meir product as a best buy. Well done.

Super durable! Does the job. We haven’t taken it rafting yet but it would be fine.

Great waterproof bag used for fishing on boat. Very large and spacious. This bag is worth a lot more than the price charged. High quality materials, great compression strap. Inside and outside small pocket. Roll out closure is easy to use. The backpack strap are very comfortable. The only reason i am not giving 5 stars is because the external pocket is not waterproof.

Maybe rainproof but definitely not waterproof Canoe tipped in a rapid and bag stayed maybe 1 min in the water, everything was soaking wet even though the bag was perfectly closed
