To be honest, I don't know how this product is only rated a 3.6. I absolutely love it. Will it cover really harsh demarcation lines with and color over solid gray hair? Absolutely not. But if you simply want to enhance, elevate, or shift the tone of your hair — in a non-permanent way — then this is absolutely the product for you. Last's about two to four washes, almost like a pigmented gloss, completely washes out. No demarcation lines. And — if you do have some silver strands coming through, it will absolutely help to mask them. One bottle lasts 2 applications for me. And I have long, thick hair. Plus — the price !?! 5 Stars. Try it out.

I like it didn’t smell and my hair looks great. I dislike that it’s messy, so be prepared. It did not cover all the little grays I have but enough that I am happy. I will try the advanced kind for gray next time now I am aware there is another kind from this collection. I have used permanent dye for years and do not want chemicals on my scalp. This does have Parabens but better than the other stuff in permanent colors I believe. It will wash out soon or later but you can use this often and it is safe for your hair. I will continue to use this and love how my hair came out! Instead of coloring permanent every 3 weeks, I am going to try once every six months Is my plan if I need to. This stuff works good enough. I have darkest brown hair and used darkest brown. Hope this helps someone!

This is a temporary hair color meaning it lasts, for me, about 3-4 months before it begins to fade a little. I buy this all the time for the quality, color and price. Super nice

So happy with the results. I used 18D color and it is slightly darker than my original hair color. I needed 2 of those to cover my hair. It is so shiny and smells good. We will see how long it lasts :)

Great hair color. It doesn't last a long time but that's okay. I'll put up with that to keep my hair from falling out. The Clairol Advanced Grey was making my hair fall out. This does not and leaves it soft. Win Win.
