I have placed it on my hat and on my patch collector book. **Q: what is the tan fabric material ? it looks like it will tear soon.** A: I really don't know what the Fabric is seems like a heavy duty cotton like most patches are the sewing is as good or better than I have ever seen. I see no way of tearing the patch unless you are in some type of odd situation . I'm very impressed with it and proud to wear it.
