Does a great job!
I have a bad case of posterior blepharitis, a serious and nontreatable disorder, and using this twice a day helps a lot. I can cut down on antibiotic use by using this regularly. Using less antibiotics is very important to me. I can't recommend this highly enough. I have tried everything on the market. The pump, however, is a pain and doesn't work nearly as well as the Ocusoft pump. It sticks and you have to be careful to raise it to full height after using and keep it in the right position. Also, you have to shake it very, very well to mix the foaming ingredient with the rest of it so that it foams well. Otherwise, you'll find too much foam when you are near the end of the bottle. In fact, I sometimes throw away the last bit because it's too foamy and can sting. The first pumps are often too liquid. However, it is well worth it to me to put up with all the pump trouble because it works better than any non-antibiotic treatment. I use it regularly twice a day and set a timer on 60 secs. It works. I have been using this for amost two years and it is all I need for my posterior blepharitis. My doctor couldn't believe my eyes were so much better. Remember posterior is different from regular blepharitis and is uncurable. But my eyes are so much better now than using other medications. I no longer soak them every night. I have learned how to use the pump and don't have many problems with it. You just have to remember to shake very, very well, tilt forward and down when pumping and if it sticks to raise it manually. Can't recommend it enough.

Highly Recommend
I have Corneal Dystrophy, Blepharitis and extremely dry eyes. I have also had Cataract Surgery. My eyes feel like something is in them and they itch and sting constantly. I go to a Low Vision Specialist Dr. She recommended this eye wash along with Thera Tears drops and Thera Tears Eye Nutrition. This eye wash is amazing!! It is a very gentle foam. My eyes feel so clean after I use it. Try not to get it in your eyes, it will sting a little. If u do, just rinse with cool water. The skin around my eyes is very soft after using. I have not found it to be drying. My eyes are so much more comfortable after using. I might also mention that I have very sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all. I highly recommend this product if your eyes are uncomfortable in any way. It is a very comfortable, gentle way to treat your eyes. I have found no negatives, just pluses!! Your eyes will love you for cleaning them with this!!!

Eliminated my dry eye issues
This stuff is simply miraculous to me. I battled dry eye syndrome from 1997 to early 2018. I saw numerous ophthalmologists who prescribed Restasis, various lubricating drops and dietary supplements. I also had many rounds of punctal plugs put in my tear drainage ducts to force tears to pool back on my eyes. My ophthalmologist in NYC kept asking if I was washing my lids. I washed my face twice a day & removed my makeup every night, so I always said yes. I suspect that she was telling me to use this type of lid wash and I just didn't understand. After one horrific day of extreme eye goo in February 2018, I ended up at the office of a nearby optometrist. I feared conjunctivitis. The optometrist diagnosed severe dry eye and recommended this Thera Tears eyelid cleanser and twice daily application of a microwavable eye mask. My eyes improved within a day and no longer bothered me at all within a week of starting treatment. When I went back to the optometrist in April 2018, he said he saw no signs of dry eye. NO SIGNS! After over 20 years of struggling with eye issues, this product solved my problem. I don't use the heated eye mask twice a day every day, but I do wash my lids with this product twice a day. It works. I also tried cleansing pads with similar cleansing properties. I thought they would be easier for travel. The cleansing pads were too abrasive for me. I felt I had to rub too hard. I much prefer the foam of this cleanser. Highly recommend.

2 Months Later: Good Product, Faulty Bottle Function
I had been getting a stye or chalazion about every month, and could not determine why or how to prevent it, considering I am a very hygienic person. I decided to purchase this eyewash, although the price for the size made me a little hesitant. This eyewash helped my styes and chalazion heal significantly faster than the home remedies I was using (teabags, steam, hot compress, etc.). I used it 2x a day for the first several days, then decreased to once a day after my eye problems had subsided. Overall, it's good treatment and PREVENTION for styes and chalazion. The only con would be the bottle design. I noticed after only a few uses, the pump began to jam into the bottle, so I would have to manually pry the pump back out to use it. This is not a huge deal but it can definitely be annoying considering it now happens every time I use the product. The jam gets in the way of dispensing an adequate amount of eyewash.

Expensive but SO helpful!
Love this stuff. My opthamologist actually initially recommended it. At first I thought is was another gimick from the cosmetic/pharma industry but once I tried it, I was hooked. Most people probably never think of the need to wash their eyelids but if you think about it, it's hair that protects one of our most important and sensative human assets. I live in Colorado and there is so much dust in the air here. It accumulates on my eyelids and causes constant itching and redness in my eyes. I use SteriLid everyday and it really helps to reduce irriation. The soap itself is extremely mild and I can literally put it in your eyes without burning or discomfort. It also really helps to use after I do dusty or dirty work around the house like sanding, sweeping, mowing or raking leaves. While this little bottle may seem expensive (and it is) it actually lasts quite a while. I can get several months out of it using 1 pump worth of soap to clean both my eyelids daily. Also, if you are thinking of buying it, you are looking in right place. Amazon has the best price I can find either in stores or on the internet.

The only brand that works and now it’s discontinued 💔
This is the ONLY foam/cleaner that helps with my bleph and I have tried them ALL. All the others don’t work and actually seem to make it worse. This is the only one that gave me my eyes back. I’m terrified because I have no idea what I’m going to do once my last bottle runs out. I called the company and it doesn’t sound like they are bringing it back. I’m so scared. My eyes are going to be awful again without it. I keep testing other products out again and they all make ky kids more irritated, inflammed, and cause sinus and eye aches. Three days without this and I’m back ti square one with severe irritation. I don’t know what I’m going to do. Thera Tears please bring this product back 😭😭😭😭

Defective batch Got a refund
I have been using Theratears Sterilid Eyelid Cleansing Foam for years. This batch does not foam. Read other reviews and they said they got a refund from Amazon. I tried chat but was told no refund, asked to speak to agent and got a full refund. The number on the bottle was 2006W. Both my bottles no foam. I will throw them out. Another reviewer claimed they were recalled. No matter they are useless without the foam. So if you have this batch and no foam call and get a refund. I hope they figure out the problem. I love this product for Blepharitis. It keeps my condition under control. Use it twice a day. Luckily I have one good bottle left.

It helped with my eye pain and irritation
My doc told me to get TheraTears Sterilid for eye pain and irritation. I was skeptical that "eyelash shampoo" as she called it will do anything for me, but to my surprise by the next day my eyes felt better. The first few days I applied it more often, but now after a couple of weeks of use I settled on twice a day. Sterilid is applied by the fingertips. First, one needs to wash the fingers, then use the pump bottle to generate foam, and then gently rub it across the eyelids and eye lashes. The foam is not stiff, and the preparation has a pleasant scent. You are supposed to keep it on your eyes for 60 seconds for the best possible effect. After I apply it they eye lids feel cooled which is a welcomed relief as my eye lids feel warm and irritated. I got my first purchase at a local Wallgreens right after the doctor's visit but even with the coupon she gave me it was more expensive than on Amazon. My second purchase (and the ones to follow) on Amazon. Ali Julia review

Works well. Manufacturer says it has no expiration date. Should be good for the next 30 years.
I also have just received Sterilid with LOT 1506W marking. It has no expiration date on the box or bottle. I called the manufacturers in the US and they say that LOT is still fine until 2050! Apparently, if it is stored correctly, it should not go off. Obviously, do not used if there appears to be anything wrong with it like a strange smell or colour. It should be a clear white foam. Also, this seller is their official UK distributer.

Thera Tears Lidrandreiniger
Hilft sehr gut, ist aber auch recht teuer. Löst gut die Verkrustungen und klebrigen Tränenrest ab, besonders morgens, da ist es immer am schlimmsten.

Fantastic product best on the market, but no longer available in Canadian stores...thank you Amazon! SteriLid uses natural products that include tea tree a natural antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal essential oil and it not only hygenicially cleanses the eyelids of any debris and bacterial or even eyelid mites but it leave them feeling clean and refreshed...something the other products I have tried not not. Visine and Systane products all contain alcohol that can sting sensitive eye lid tissue and even eyes it if gets into them whilst cleansing. I would hightly recommend this product to anyone suffering from any form for eyelid problems such as blepharitis or conjunctivitis or as a part of your regular morning cleansing program when washing your face. I pray that the product continues to be available and would even hope that TheraTears returns it to the shelves of drugstores and Walmart again.

Prevents styes, works as described.
I used to have styes on regular a regular basis, even when using baby shampoo to wash my eyes on a daily basis. Since I've bought this product and introduced it into my morning regime, I haven't had a stye in more than half a year. An amazing solution to my problem, would recommend to any one facing the same issue. I tend to use baby shampoo and then the foam scrub afterwards.
