Can baby be facing out with this?

This carrier allows your little one to be worn on the front, while facing you, and on your back. This is not designed to be worn with your little one in an outward-facing position. The Tula Explore carrier is the only Tula carrier that offers a position where baby can face outward.

How long is the max waist circumference?

The hip Belt Measures 23" wide, with additional webbing extending the waistband up to 57” long.

How big of a toddler can be held? I have a4yr old that is 35lbs but gets tired hiking sometimes.

Our 3 year old is 30lbs and fits it in very well and comfortably during hikes I have only worn ours for about a mile so anything over that we use our dueter hiking carrier.

Can this be used for newborns if i purchase the newborn insert?

According to the Tula website, no.
