It had been years since I had last thought about this game, and when considering what to bring on our camping trip, this came to mind. I love the purple chips that comes with this game and the colorful tin. It seems solid and is not flimsily, however it doesn't seem to attach very tight, and does tend to slip off. I have wrapped a rubber band around it to hold it together. The purpose of the game is to win all the chips from your other players, you must have at least 3 people to play, but it's much more fun with more people. But when my girls first saw the game, they crinkled up their noses, as it wasn't an xbox controller in my hand. My 6 year old looked intimidated and my 11 year-old was overconfident. "Whatever mom, it's not cool, but I'll play anyway." It wasn't long and my daughter had just beaten her big sister right away. And her big sister couldn't wait to play another round. After our trip, the kids couldn't wait to play with their friends. There they were, 6 kids in my living room the flat screen tv shut off, and they are playing LCR and having a blast. Everyone can play as long as they can follow directions, with help even a small child who hasn't learned right from left yet could play with direction.

This adds a bit of strategy to the original game and mixes it up a bit. Tons of fun!

I played this game at a very large family gathering. We each put in $2.50 in $.50c coins and my 8 year old niece took the win! So fun to do in a large group but surprisingly just as fun with only a few people. We will sometimes play for real coins rather then the plastic ones. Nothing more exciting then winning $10 :)
