Mangrove Hardwood Lumps BBQ Charcoal (20 lbs)

Good charcoal. Very consistent size. Burns well. If I have any complaints it is that the pieces tend to be round and about 6 inches, sort of like the old Lincoln Logs - so if you just pour them in they tend to align like sardines and I have to rearrange them to keep the airflow. But, overall, I like them.

Great idea - very difficult to light. It takes a LONG time, but once it's started, it keeps the heat well. I won't buy this again due to the difficulty lighting this product. :(

Not the hottest burning charcoal I've used but on the hotter side of the spectrum. The charcoal smells fine when burning but it gave my food an unpleasant seaweed like taste.

This is okay from someone who has used various different bags. This is next to the Big Green Egg brand but, honestly it has a little more spark after lighting. I use the squares from here and a blow torch (don't wanna wait all day for a light). There isn't that much ash in the bottom of this bag that's for sure and there are many nice size chunks that you may not find in the other brands. After 8 to 12 hours of grilling or smoking to me there is the same amount of ash vs the Green Egg brand. Now, this brand is 75% better than that brand that has a Cowboy on a Bronco as their cover!

This is an excellent product! Anyone who enjoys grilling a big steak - or any other food - would never switch to another charcoal after trying this brand.

Best “charcoal” I’ve ever used. The flavor is amazing, the temperature is very easily controlled and lasts longer than needed. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a real custom flavored bbq experience.

I have used several brands of Lump Charcoal over the past year looking for a quality product. I am not a professional smoker by any stretch but Mangrove Hardwood Lumps BBQ Charcoal (20 lbs) has been the best yet. For burn length and flavor and price it works great and I usually use Jealous Devil. The only knock on this product is its availability or lack of. If it was reliably available it would be the only Lump Charcoal I would use.
