Pleasantly surprised by the quality of these containers- I wasn't expecting much, but what I received was awesome. GREAT quality! Thick and sturdy material. Pretty durable, as it survived shipping/transit in just a thin mailing bag with no padding. Truly "crystal" clear. The lid secures tightly too. No need to worry about accidental leaks here! The only little quibble I have is that I wish the side snap parts were a little heftier to match the heavy-duty build of the rest of the item. The plastic there is not nearly as thick/heavy-duty, so I'm not sure how long those components will last. But I'm willing to give it a try anyways! Not a super big deal, just a minor thing really. I've used/tested these containers for a little while now and rest assured, the snaps do lock firmly in place and work fine. (Time will tell regarding longevity!) Regardless, I'm still VERY pleased with these. Well worth the price. Nice solid build. Good value. I feel like they will last a long time. I did not think I would ever get this excited about a storage container lol. Ended up purchasing a few of them because I like them so much. I actually bought them for arts and crafts purposes and they work better than I expected. I sculpt jewelry and miniatures (figurines). More specifically, using air dry clay- these bins keep the opened packages of clay soft and fresh while not in use, and they certainly protect finished/sealed pieces exceptionally well. Excellent product! Would absolutely buy again. Highly recommended!

The Rubbermaid Brilliance 4.7-cup storage containers, and they are a huge lifesaver for my daily routine. Between balancing my summer classes at UT and keeping up with content creation, meal prep is the only way I stay on track during the week. The material is honestly the standout feature. They are made from a crystal-clear, BPA-free plastic that looks exactly like glass but without the heavy weight. The thickness of the plastic gives them incredible sturdiness. They do not warp or bend even when packed completely full of hot food. When it comes to organization, their stability in the fridge is fantastic. The lids are designed to stack flawlessly on top of each other. You can stack them multiple levels high, and they will not slide around when you open the fridge door. The versatility is exactly what I need. The size is perfect for everything from large lunch salads to heavy leftover dinners. The airtight seal locks down tight. You can toss one in your backpack for a long day on campus and never have to worry about annoying leaks or spills. Cleanup is completely effortless because they are fully dishwasher safe. Even after running them through multiple wash cycles, the plastic stays perfectly clear and resists stubborn food stains. If you want a reliable set of containers that makes food storage incredibly easy, these are worth every penny.

You will never use ANY OTHER STORAGE CONTAINER AGAIN. I replaced ALL of my food storage, YES, INCLUDING MY TUPPERWARE, with these. They freeze well, microwave well, they're dishwasher safe, stack well, take up less space, the vents work to help the food cook evenly, and they last!! I have some that are 3 years old! I would always make too much food and forget to freeze the leftovers. Now, I purposely make extra and freeze it. I am eating leftovers! Who'da thought?! As if that's not enough, they keep food fresh for a VERY LONG TIME. I made a HUGE fresh fruit salad for a get together, and it lasted 5 DAYS in the refrigerator. It lasted only 5 days because we finally ate it all! I use the plastic ones, but they also have a glass option. I did have one lid crack after 3 months of use, and they sent me a full refund after sending proof of damage and purchase, because they don't offer replacement parts. Highly recommend! NOTE: When using in the freezer, make sure you leave a little room for the expansion in the freezing process. Yes, I know, but I didn't think of that. It popped one of the side clips open, but it still worked after with no damage. Lesson learned. Lol

Love the size and dimensions of this container. Shaped like a bread pan. Depth is nice and holds a very useful quantity. Seal seems good. Stackable. Have not yet had a lid break on this size, unlike the larger size. These are getting much use.

The clarity makes it easy to see what’s inside at a glance. • Microwave- & Dishwasher-Safe The built-in vent under the latches lets you microwave (with the lid on) without messy splatters, and cleanup is a breeze in the dishwasher. • Stackable / Space-Efficient Design The containers and lids nest securely, helping keep my fridge, pantry, and cabinet shelves neat and organized. • Durable Enough for Everyday Use It feels solid. The minor drawbacks are mostly what you’d expect from premium containers (durable but not indestructible). I’m thrilled with the value and would gladly recommend them to anyone serious about quality food storage.

When they arrive, they really live up to the claims in my experience with them. They are great, IF YOU DON'T PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER. I listened to the hype, and watched the product video, which CLEARLY SHOWS someone pulling them from the bottom rack of a dishwasher as the audio states, "...the premium BPA material is dishwasher safe..." Thing is, after a few months of daily use, washed approximately once per week in the dishwasher, bottom rack, and that perfect seal did start to leak, so NO they are not dishwasher safe when used as depicted in the actual manufacturer product video. It's possible that they would have been fine indefinitely on the top rack only. If that is in fact the case, Rubbermaid needs to specify that, as many manufacturers do, and for the love of - change the video. I will probably buy more of these, because they are great. However, I will HANDWASH ONLY. Minus a star for blatantly overstating their own product's capability. Otherwise, pretty good. They do stain with prolonged exposure to red things like tomato sauce and hot sauce, if say, used for left over storage for multiple days in the refrigerator. I have a few glass storage containers that work pretty well, but don't seal as well. Glass does not stain and is dishwasher safe. The corners also make a good pouring edge for low viscosity liquids, unlike some which lend themselves to spillage. There are two uses I have for these. 1, the leakproof quality makes these ideal for storing things in the freezer. No leak means no additional air, means reducing the effect of freezer burn. Glass in the freezer is a no go, since it can break as the contents expand. 2, good lunch box/bento for work/school if stored in a bag or backpack. If you are storing things right side up always, in the refrigerator or something, I'd choose glass over these. If you are using them for freezer, long term (I use one for brown sugar), or mobile storage, these are excellent. By far the most leakproof I've tried. At the end of the day, these do have their temperature limitations, so beware of stove to container direct transfers. Glass has a much higher temperature tolerance, and can be put in the oven for warming. I would not put these in the oven. For keeping things like soups, sauces, gravy, Hollandaise, and pancakes warm from about 150-200 F in the oven, I would trust my glass storage containers, but I would not use these. Would recommend for certain applications. I prefer glass if it's just right side up refrigerator storage.

I've owned the containers for almost one year; they seem to be holding up fine. The plastic containers have a few scratches but secure food well. I will buy again.

Fabulous containers. The lids fit so snugly that an airtight seal is there every time. It can actually be difficult to open, but in my case it is part of the appeal. I love that they are clear with no need to label. I feel as though they are fairly priced. I can’t bring myself to heat in them in the microwave, but it’s great that the versatility for storage and reheating is there. Another benefit of not being glass is that they’re very lightweight.

Tough, solid, and actually practical. This Rubbermaid Brilliance container feels like it could survive being dropped, kicked, or accidentally buried in the back of the cupboard for six months and still come out ready for work. The seal is solid, it’s easy to use, and the design makes storing things surprisingly convenient. No gimmicks. No unnecessary nonsense. Just a really good container that does its job properly. 5 stars. My food is secure, my cupboards are organized, and I have officially reached the age where I get excited about quality Tupperware.
