I had second thoughts on buying this as it seemed expensive but it was super DELICIOUS! A slight smokey taste to it. Lovely in my salmon salad.Plus the country of origin is Palestine (rather than their aggressive neighbour) which is an extra win.I couldn’t see cooking instructions so i made a guess at 50g freekah to 250g water… did have to keep an eye and add a little extra as it was simmering.I would recommend and definitely buy again!

This was my third order from Yaffa and as always it arrived very quickly and tasted wonderful. I was also pleased that it was Palestinian produce and that my purchase supports that country.

i would highly reccomend this product, not only on the solely political premise, but also just how useful of a staple this is to have arons the house. it pairs well hot or cold with various nuts, salads, dressings and more!personal favorite is to rinse off in cold water (after cooking), dry well, and toss with freshly washed baby leaves, heaps of olive oil, toasted sesame and sumac, and an acid like balsamic

Smell and taste of freekeh is good. I prepared a chicken stuffed with freekeh. After I washed the freekeh with hot water, I cooked the freekeh with a little bit of onions and spices until, then I added the ready-made chickpeas to it, stuffed the chicken with it and grilled it in the oven.
