Theee BEST detangler and slip solution for coily kinky hair. My son has hair like sheep’s wool and it does not hold moisture it absorbs everything and leaves nothing behind lol this helped me soften his hair to use the detangler comb. I've tried a lot of leave-in conditioners and detanglers over the years, and I keep coming back to Kinky-Curly Knot Today. I have what I believe is 4A hair with tight curls, and the biggest difference for me is the amount of slip it provides. It makes detangling much easier and helps reduce pulling and breakage compared to other products I've tried. I've tested several alternatives hoping to find something better, but I always end up coming back to this one because it consistently works for my hair. I am done searching and testing, this is now my go-to detangler, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with tight curls looking for a product with excellent slip.

i have thin and straight hair that goes past my buttcheeks and i throw it in a top bun for months at a time and let a HUGE DREADED KNOT develop in my hair and I used this product by putting a good amount in my dread letting it soak in for a couple minutes and it really helped my knot come out more easily than doing it without. the price is crazy, but the product is worth it.

This is literally the only product that can successfully detangle my 2b mixed porosity hair. I cannot find a dupe. I cannot find a different product that performs as well. I recommend it to everyone with curly, wavy, or difficult to manage hair. I even have my dad using it.

This is one of the few products I have found that contains no protein. Also contains no aloe vera or coconut, which for me, act like proteins. Although the formula changed, not as thick, it still works great. Wish it was cheaper tho.

Helps tangles

I can’t live without this product. With curly hair it’s always trial and error but this product is an evident yes for me. It smoothes and conditions my hair without weighing it down. I’m never without this product because my longer curls even curl great even when I don’t add a gel to them

I’ve been using this for years. It smells great and keeps my hair healthy. Sometimes I just use this and let my hair dry naturally for a lighter feel without other products.
