Does the job

Bought this for my son. Item is as described. It is attractive and appears to be of good quality. Time will tell how well it holds up to daily use. My son really likes this and says the gel adds much comfort while driving his vehicle. Would buy again.

As we and our car age, we both get a bit brittle! I was finding it difficult to drive for a five hour trip to family, even with 20 min stop. This gel pad clips nicely around the driver’s seat and stays put, offering exceptionable comfort during a long drive; so much so that I’ve bought a second one for the passenger seat. I didn’t struggle to get out afterwards. We never travel a long distance in winter and we like our seat heaters so I’ve easily removed the pads for now, back into their included bags, storing in winter into early spring. Then will use them again next spring and summer when we again travel.

For decades we saved a metal framed orthopedic seat and back that my wife used while driving, but discarded it when we thought those back aches were a thing of the past. Now we both have back injuries and wish we would have keep that seat. We ordered this product hoping it would provide the same comfort as the old one. Unfortunately, this FOMI seat and back cushion pad does not relieve the my wife’s back pain. The good news is that it works for me. My aging oversized couch no longer provides the support I need. While waiting our new couch to arrive, I needed to find a comfortable place to sit in my living room. While this pad is not made for a couch, I was able to attach it to the recliner portion of my couch and it provides the support and comfort I was looking for. Enjoy!

I recently acquired a CASASIO office chair which had a number of issues with seating comfort, including uncomfortable lumbar support. A review on this elsewhere. I purchased this FOMI seat back and cushion and it has made a big difference. The only aspect that I find problematic is the length of the seat cushion being too short. As a result the front cushion edge presses against the under part of your thigh and can become annoying after a while without periodically changing your seating position. Otherwise it seem fairly well made so far.
