A: Hi Thetruth, we appreciate your interest in our product. This SARS3S is the optional wireless rear speakers for HT-A7000, HTA5000 and HTA3000 that uses wireless transmitter for connection (5 GHz). This unit still needs to be plugged into the AC outlets (mains) for power. You can visit our Support site for more details. Hope this helps. ~Earl
