My son caught a huge fish!! Great price! Cons: It can bend with weight. Review: 3-Prong issa Heavy Duty - I can only speak for the 3three Prong Spear Tip that I purchase - but this sucker is thick, stout, and heavy duty! I initially bought some spear tips from my local Big Box Sporting Goods store for Flounder Gigging - but I was unimpressed with them. They were light weight, easily bent, and too flimsy for my taste. They are actually advertised for Frog Gigging so I can understand why the light weight build. Therefore, I went on the search for something more hefty, something that can handle a 20+ inch flatty - and I think this 3three Prong Spear Tip will suit my needs. I'm not sure about it's rust-resistant capabilities just yet but I will update yall once I take it out on a few Gig'n trips. But so far, my initial thoughts, for such an affordable price, this thing is a winner. I'm gonna pair this with a 3/4 PVC - DIY ## Features - Material:Fish spear is made of stainless steel, sturdy and durable, allowing you to hunt the delicious sea food in the reefs. - Universal Matching: 8mm/0.31 inch thread 0.31 inch thread universal matching, you can connect a pole, or add it to a pole with 8mm screw holes to harvest more prey. - Good welds at the joints. Only thing that would make it better would be a pipe instead of threads so I could slide it on a pole, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it. ## Frequently Bought Together - FREGITO Fishing Harpoon Stainless Steel Fishing Barbed Spear Gig Gaff with 8mm Screw for Outdoor Fishing Landing Large Fish Frog - Cyfie Retractable Fishing Gaff, Stainless Steel Flounder Gig Frog Gig Gaff Pole, Muti-Size Telescopic Fishing Gaff with 8mm Screw, Capable for Gaff Harpoon Hook --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/358306662-fishing-harpoon-spear-stainless-steel-barbed-gig-with-aluminum-rod](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/358306662-fishing-harpoon-spear-stainless-steel-barbed-gig-with-aluminum-rod) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
