The combination of infrared with the healing properties of amethyst increases circulation, relaxes muscles, and provides an extremely soothing and deeply penetrating source of heat. If you’re not familiar with infrared heating pads, they operate completely differently than a traditional heating pad in that they penetrate deep into the tissues and they’re not just heating up the surface of the skin. This is why they provide such a deep level of healing. It is also worth noting that I first purchased this heating pad probably 18 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. I contacted customer service through email and received a very quick response and after trying one thing that was recommended which failed to correct the problem I was immediately shipped a brand new heating pad to replace the one that developed an electrical problem. This is an amazing product, and I love the size of it because it can be used on various parts of the body including the back, hip/thigh/glutes, shoulder/neck etc. Extra bonus: if you struggle to fall asleep use this nightly. it’s deep relaxation effect will ease you into a deep sleep.
