Pocket Organizer is a great pouch for Everyday Carry (EDC) items that is small enough to fit in most cargo pockets or drops easily into a bag or backpack. I love every one of the over two dozen products of theirs that I own and never leave home without at least one of their bags. All of my bags have been made in Taiwan with the exception of the last 3 which were made in Vietnam. I'm not at all happy with them. They were duplicates of ones I already own and they're not as good. I already owned a Mini Pocket Organizer but needed another. What I found was that the dimensions have changed slightly. It's slightly larger which makes it a tighter fit when trying to get it into your pocket. The materials have changed. Maxpedition has not mentioned this on their site. The new material is much rougher and stiffer. The elastic material has changed such that it's much less stretchy, in fact, almost no elasticity. Even the material of the front web pocket has changed and is rougher and the loop at the top is stiffer. They've also slightly changed the color so that it does not match the dozens of other khaki Maxpedition bags I own. Instead of having a slightly green tint, it's now darker and more brown. The zippers are not as smooth. I returned it. I have nothing against any country of origin since it's the manufacturer that dictates quality but I do feel that Maxpedition has lowered their quality and they don't seem very concerned to have lost me as a long-time customer as they don't feel compelled to respond to my emails. Note from my photos that the "Made in Taiwan" used to be part of the inside label but now the "Made in Vietnam" label is one of those tiny white labels and is hidden beneath the Maxpedition label. Before you say anything, the Mini that I'm comparing it to in my photos is the foliage green. I bought the Khaki to go with most of my larger bags but the colors don't match. ### ⭐⭐ Cheaper version of the excellent older model - no longer Hard Use Gear *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2018* I'm very disappointed to say that these ae not like they were a few years ago. Manufacturing apparently was switched from Taiwan to Veitnam and I believe that Maxpedition used this as an opportunity to skim out on the materials. For one thing the Khaki color is not the same nor is the material. You can pretty much see thru the material when you hold it up to light which on my older model you cannot. The logo has also changed and they no longer claim Hard Use Gear or American Designed which I think pretty much sums up the issue - cheap manufacturing.The Zippers and layout is the same but without quality material holding everything together the pouch just is not the same.I was so unhappy I returned the item and bought a similar item from Vanquest. All American Made with way better material and contrasting interior. Vanquest uses same zippers. Overall I'm really glad I returned the maxpedition Mini and bought the Vanquest one instead, as its at least as good, if not better, than the older maxpedition mini version I had and liked. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great organizer for many uses. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2017* I bought the Micro and the Mini to store a small camping fire kit. Ultimately neither were large enough, but I kept them around for other uses. Currently, this Mini serves as a small tool kit with a folding knife, ferro rod, fishing kit and a few other misc. small tools. It's small enough to fit just about anywhere in a bag and the large grab loop makes it easy to retrieve. It would also make for a good small first aid or boo-boo kit, or storage for portable electronics like batteries, power cells, chargers and cables.The velcro field is nice for ID patches: I like to use patches or nametapes to identify my organizers so I know what is in them at a glance. The Mini also has rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing on the back so you could lace this to a pack, but honestly it serves it's purpose better when just stored in the pack. I suppose the webbing could be used to store first aid shears or other items that wont fit inside the pouch.Overall, it's a great organizer with a variety of different uses depending on the user's needs. Maxpedition is great about having a variety of sizes so you can get one exactly the size you need. I highly recommend them.A note about counterfeit products:There are concerns about Amazon selling fake Maxpedition products, due to some of the photos shown above. The original stock photos show a tag saying Made in Taiwan, while many people (myself included) have received pouches made in Vietnam. So, I called Maxpedition about it. I explained that I was concerned about it being a fake, but as I bought it from Amazon LLC, not a vendor, maybe I had gotten some new old stock. I explained that my 3-year-old Fatboy says "Hard Use Gear" on the front and had a tag that said Made In Taiwan. They said that they are currently, as of 2016, producing pouches and bags in Vietnam and that they no longer say "Hard Use Gear" on the front. I was told that Amazon buys directly from Maxpedition so there is no chance I got a fake. When I commented that the pouch I have does not look quite like the one on Maxpedition's website, she said the photos were out of date.
