**Q: its a radio not a raido?**
A: Not sure what you mean. However, I can tell you about it.
Its an am/fm radio. It has a separate band for weather chanel. Its a fairly powerful flashlight. It can also send SOS flashing lights. It can also charge devices via USB. This emergency radio powers by;
Batteries, solar panel and also can be cranked by a handle for 30 or so seconds as needed.
Its a very useful device in an emergency.
It won't call your mom though. You must call your mom yourself.

**Q: To see battery charge level the radio must be on?**
A: To see the current charge, you just turn on the radio switch for a second, then turn it off. The 4 little blue lights that indicate the charge will stay on for about 30 seconds, then automatically turn off. 1 light is 25%, 2 is 50%, 3 is 75%, 4 is 100% charged. The red charging light stays on when it is charging, like when it is sitting on the window sill in the sunlight.

**Q: How many batteries are required and are the batteries included with the purchase of the radio?**
A: The radio is coming with two 18650 batteries.

**Q: Does the solar power work alone without batteries?**
A: No.   The batteries are integrated into the radio and act as a capacitor for the solar panel.  The capacitor evens out the DC charge to add energy to your separate device like a phone.  The solar panel alone would provide unusable inconsistent power for a phone.  The solar panel charges the battery.  The battery charges your phone battery.  Your phone battery powers your phone.

hand crank will not charge the phone , only works for light and radio , it is mentioned in the specification but i missed it out , it is a very important function in emergency and power failure that you will need but you wont find in this device unless you charged the power bank ahead.
