Underwood Deviled Ham Spread, 2.25 Ounce (Pack of 48)

Its quick, its filling you can take it anywhere and with only Ritz Crackers you can dine like a king. I love the lift off locking system, and the taste is beyond any deli meat. I keep plenty of it on hand always, as its also a perfect prepper non spoil food source. The taste is phenomenal Small can but mighty sustenance source!!

The cans are sturdy and good for storage. This summer, the electricity went out THRICE and the internet went down ONCE - meaning people and pets should prepare to have a little something to nibble on for days when SHTF in a worse way. I am not into meat, but my animals LLLLove this stuff. It is salty, so just a tiny bit smeared on homemade bread makes a great snack for them.

I was hoping the reviews would have had the company rethink the cans they use on these smaller ones. I was wrong. These aren't pull tabs. Now I have to buy a can opener and lunch sandwiches won't be as fresh. Not sure if I'll be ordering these smaller cans again unless they add pull tops. So sad Other than that.....FANTASTIC taste, have loved since childhood, great price and lighting fast shipping.

Not sure why it is called deviled. Maybe because it is sinfully good? *shrugs* At least I remember it being so. Now, it is not as I recall, but it it still pretty tasty. It spreads easily and tastes great by itself on a cracker... or in a sandwich with cheese and a few drops of your favorite hot sauce. It is also a good source of meat protein that will stay happily in your pantry for quite awhile without fears of going bad due to the rather high sodium content. I ALWAYS try to keep this or some form or another of canned meat products for rougher times if the need arises. It tastes slightly like corned beef hash... which is weird since that is beef and ham is pork. Anyway, it is a decent product that makes a good quick snack if the urge arises. Try it for yourself and see.

I like the single serve size as it saves from having to put half away in the refrigerator. It tastes the same to me although I do find you have to mix it to incorporate the oil back into the mix. The sandwich I make is bread, mayo, Underwood deviled ham, 4 pickles, and two potato chips, and finally the second slice of bread. My wife had dysphagia and she loves this because it is easy to chew, easy to make, and is flavorful.

I always liked this product. You can use past Best by date, all of the Underwood spreads. I buy storable food and this lasts a long time. It's the same as is always been, but the price has gone up. That's the only change. I recommend it. It's hard to find lately as with many other food item these days. so I splurged this time. If you stock up, this is a good item to have, but That's just me. Makes a couple sandwiches per each can.

Tasty product, been eating this stuff for years and enjoy it as a occasional treat. Shipping was fast, no damage and the price is OK though not great. Now I have 48 cans of this stuff and based on the sell by date I have about 2 years to eat it. Should be an easy goal and I am happy with my purchase.

this is such a deal over grocery store prices! I eat one for lunch with crackers, a couple of days a week. They taste just as good as they did when I was a child .(It would be nice if they had a pop-top, though).
