I bought two of these to replace a couple of 40 year old fluorescent light fixtures in a radio shack. The ballast in one of those old ones was bad and only of of two of the fluorescent lights would work unless you rolled the one that didn't light up. Got sick of that and didn't desire to replace the ballast of fool with those old dinosaurs anymore-- they did their time well! I saw these LED's and for the price they looked like a great deal, and they are a great deal! Only problem I have is they get damaged in shipping-- they need to enclose the LED with it's shipping box in another box with paper stuffed down in it, so as to protect it from UPS using it for punting practice! The damage is minor and I intend to keep them, just hope the next one I order(if necessary) is undamaged.As far as the LED itself, it's great! Easy to install, 3 foot cord to plug into an outlet, looks good, lights up the room very nicely-- what's not to like? Now I did have a bit of a hard time at first since the brightness of the LED is different from those old fluorescent lights. But I got over that very quickly after getting use to them and the added bonus is that they do not buzz like the old ones! Freakin' sweet!

It's a very good product suitable for garage, basement, etc. I believe that it can be used as a shop light as well to light up the area. It is an all-in-one fixture, meaning the bulbs are not separately replaceable.I bought it to hang this LED strip in my garage. After unboxing, I realized how high-quality the item was and it was also incredibly light compared to the older versions. The light is very bright, and is not soft white like other bulbs.The entire garage looks like the sun is inside there after installation. I love it, couldn't be happier.

Sweet light! Same brightness and light color as my two lamp T-8 fixtures. These are add on lights to brighten up the garage extra when I need it- hence the pull chain. Make sure you have some screw hooks. These come with the chain and S hooks but not the ceiling hooks.

Very light weight and very bright!! Packaged very well. Bought for lighting for my work space. I attached it to a bottom rung of the lofted bed over my desk area. Good neutral color lighting, going to use as additional light for photography. I just attached with picture hanging wire through the holes intended for the chain since I wanted the light mounted flush. Cord is short but so is my space so it's perfect. It's no longer dark lol

The lights were very nice and worked well for our application. However, the packaging is not very protective and one of the two lights that we ordered was cracked on the end cap. Repairing the crack with glue was less hassle than trying to return it.

Super bright light. Before I could even get this light hung in work area my nephew borrowed my generator and the light to take to the hunting cabin, he said it lit up the whole area outside the cabin. he was going to use a halogen work light for light but after using this he asked me where I got hit and how much did it cost because everyone at the cabin loved it.

Was going to go the standard fluorescent route but glad I didn't. Perfect for my application, which was to mount under the top shelf on a workbench. Bright, immediate on, and I'm assuming low power draw.

I installed 3 of these in my garage. Very easy...and I'm not mechanically talented at all. 1 of 3 came with a bit of bent metal, but all worked. Each of the lights has an input and output side. I've got 3 of them in series, the paperwork says you can put up to 30 in series. Nice bright light, I definitely recommend.
