This is one of the best christmas presents we have ever gotten out son! He rides this bike multiple times a day and it has really helped him with his balance and his ability to ride safely and easily.

Instruction to put together are terrible, but it wasn’t too hard to figure out. The bike came with the chain on it, so if you wanted to use it as a balance bike, you would need to take the chain off. It seems to be a pretty good bike. It doesn’t have a chain guard so if it’s for a small child, make sure they don’t have baggy pants on or bare feet. You cannot pedal backwards to stop it just spins when you pedal backwards it has a hand break only.

We purchased the bike on July 1st and our 3 year old learned right away from balance bike to pedals without training wheels. Unfortunately, now it’s September, has been 2 months and can’t return and the chain literally pops off every single time. He can’t ride anywhere and it’s become dangerous too. I wish there was a way to return it, the chain is way too defective.

I purchased this used cause it was like half price to purchase the used one. When it arrived the frame was broke right thru the middle. Like completely broke. I emailed the seller and they issued me another free of cost and told me to keep the old for parts. So I have to say, for customer service alone. 5 stars. The bike itself is great. A little small I think for the ages stated but still workable. It’s great that it has so many options on how to use it. Balance bike, training wheels, standard pedal bike. Awesome. I recommend buying this for a younger age children though, ud get the most use out of this bike. If ur child is already older, well like I said the bike is kinda small. But it is super light so small children should have no problem coasting along on this thing. The seat and handlebars are adjustable. That’s a plus. Squeeze brakes on handlebar that’s another plus. I highly recommend this bike and at the price, u totally can’t go wrong.

Great starter bike for kids! Easy assembly and I like the versatility of pedals or not and training wheels or not. Great design! Highly recommend!

Update and rating changed from last review: The bike is sturdy. The 12 inch wheel is too big for our 2 year old. Even though it is too big, she loves it. The problem was the factory screwed on bolts were too tight and the cheep aluminum tools that came with the bike were worthless; they warped and could not do the job. Once we used real tools and had additional assistance it could be assembled. Rating changed from a 1 to a 3. Only a 3 because the return window should be longer or don't buy it until a week before it will be given. Additionally the list price was 159.00 and we were charged $179.00 with tax it was over &190.00

Love this bike for our 4 year old. We got it as a Christmas gift and he was over the moon. He had outgrown his previous balance bike so we needed something bigger. I loved that this one can be a balance bike, pedal bike and has the option of training wheels. He has gotten to learn a handbrake and kickstand since we bought it. I was so grateful it is convertible because I thought he would stick to balance bike a bit longer but he LOVES the pedals now. So happy with our purchase. Handwritten note included. so sweet.

Really nice bike for my 3 year old. The back wheel was a little stiff so I put some wd40 around the brake and it really helped.
