A: No, this should not be used on a miter saw.

**Q: What is the rated rpm for this blade and can it be used in a traditional miter saw (Bosch)?**
A: it is rated at 5000 rpm -  I do not know about a miter saw

**Q: How thick is this wheel**
A: The DW8001 is 7/64" thick.

**Q: Can this blade cut 6" non-pressure pvc pipes?**
A: The blade is for cutting metal.  I think that any attempt to us it to cut PVC or any type of plastic would be extremely dangerous because this ABRASIVE blade would MELT the plastic due to friction.  The melted plastic would then solidify again and grab the abrasive wheel causing it to burst.
