Is this hard? My cat is missing a lot of teeth and can't chew hard kibble.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, it is hard food. Use a fork to make a powder and then mix with wet food. My cat loved it. My cat also had teeth problems. It took some time to find the proper proportion of powder and wet food, try 25% powder 75% wet first. Too much powder = constipation. I hope it works for you.

How much should I use to top each meal?

The serving instructions are a bit vague as the instructions are written to provide this product in Tablespoons based on a cats’ weight. It would have been easier understood based on number of bites, since each freeze dried raw boost topper is quite large. For my 8 lb cat I feed her 5 freeze dried raw boost toppers per day. This is provided with her 1/4 cup of Instinct Duck and Instinct Rabbit dry food that I’ve mixed together. She has maintained her weight on this diet for the last 3 years.

Great and very palatable toppers.

I was on the fence about getting these toppers because it was more on the pricey side for me, but it turns out my little girl absolutely loves these! Considering she is not a picky eater, she really goes out of her way to steal these from my hands which I say speaks for itself. The treats don't have an overpowering odor and the ingredients have a variety of benefits in terms of protein and coat condition. Love them and Nabi loves them even more.
