Review: Great reference book - I had to get this book for a class. It was actually an enjoyable read that was extremely informative. It is staying in my stack of books to reference back to because of the detailed information, charts, graphs and drawings that explain everything in multiple ways to ensure you are able to understand visually as well. I strongly recommend this book for anyone that is wanting to learn agroforestry and how to care for various types of trees. After reading it you will find yourself looking at various trees with a more advanced understanding of their growth and why they are shaped the way they are and what the benefits of that may be.
Review: Inspirational and Informative - So much useful information--historical, current, practices, etc. I read this book cover to cover, and was greatly inspired. I already have willow beds which I coppice, but we have since planted a block of Shumard oaks for a firewood coppice lot. But TONS of great applications!
