So darn cute!
Yes. I love the old world ornaments. I order every year. This one was special this year because I now have mystery snails in my aquarium and they are so darn cute. Like this ornament!

Very nice ornament, box not so much.
Thankfully the ornament was fine, and I like it very much. I plan on giving it to a friend. Unfortunately the box the ornament came in was not in good shape. I opened it to make sure the ornament wasn't damaged. Luckily it was not, but the box is not very nice to give as a gift.

One of the top-pieces of our collection
I don’t know what an octopus has to do with Christmas, but this is one of the most spectacular baubles in our vast and growing collection. It is a colourful high-quality Christmas Octopus bauble that is a little bigger than I expected. It was not cheap in particular as we had to order it from overseas. But it came intact in a lovely decorated box that instantly gets you in the mood. Also it was wrapped with plenty of protective paper. The bauble itself is detailed and nicely decorated. As a modern baubles it is relatively sturdy, more so than the classic thin ones. Most of our baubles are in a bit of a classic/vintage, semi-Victorian style. These combined leads to a very full, colourful but super impressive and cheerful Christmas tree. Most guests are in total awe when they see our tree and spend minutes checking out the curiosities. And of course it provides for hours of excitement when we put it up with the children.
