Women's Waterproof Adult Bib with Embroidered Design, Reusable, Washable

This was a big hit in the dining room at the independent residence where I live. Many residents thought I was dressed up ( I was sitting down, only top could be seen). No more stained clothes & it came out of washer like new.

I purchased this for my 70 year old mother who was fed up with accidentally spilling food on her shirts. She’s a fully functioning independent individual who told me she was done being prideful and wanted to wear a “bib.” It became a sort of joking thing because of what we thought adult bibs would look like. We were both pleasantly surprised by this bib. It is actually really cute and dare I say kind of stylish. Even my 6 year old said how much she liked it and wanted one of her own. In terms of functionality then this bib on my 5’6” 150 lb mother goes down about to her waist so it’s perfect for catching crumbs. She has a tad bit of a hard time with getting it around her neck and securing the Velcro but it’s no too bad. If you have range of motion problems then you’ll need help putting this on. I purposely waited to review this until after washing it and it washes up really well. I didn’t put it in the dryer but laid it out to air dry. Oh, one last thing which was important to my mom, it’s cloth not plastic. But it is waterproof because she spilled soup on it and it didn’t soak though. I will definitely buy this again!

Bought it for my mom who lives in an assisted living facility. She has functional problems with her dominant arm and therefore ends up with food on her clothing. I wanted something that didn't just look like an adult bib and this fit the ticket! She loves it and has gotten many compliments from other residents! It is made from fabric and not plastic like so many others. The pearls are embroidered and not printed on. it is plenty long enough to cover her lap.

Great for dining out use

I'm kind of a messy eater, so I usually wear an apron when I'm eating. I wanted something a little less cumbersome, so I decided to get a bib. Most of the bibs were kind of ugly, flowery things, and a lot of them were all fabric, which I was afraid wouldn't protect my clothing. So, when I came across this bib, I ordered it. Pros: 1. It's attractive. 2. It feels like it's all fabric, but it actually has plastic in between two layers of fabric. That way, you never feel the plastic. 3. It washes well. I washed mine in a mesh laundry bag with warm water, and it came out just fine. I air dried it, but I think it would be fine on a lower dryer setting, too. 4. It has a crumb catcher that can be snapped in place, if needed. Cons: 1. Where it connects with velcro, is a bit too high on the neck. It makes me feel very constricted, so I don't close it. I wish that they would lower the neck part a little, so it isn't so tight. 2. It's expensive. $27 for one bib is pretty high, so I probably won't be buying another one. However, it does seem to be of very good quality, so one bib will probably last me a long time.

My friend had this for her mother, and I fell in love instantly with it! Bought one for my elderly parent. It is really thick. The embroidery is well-done and thick. From a distance, it looks like a necklace. It's so nice I don't hesitate to take it out to a restaurant. It is quite long, so I pinned it up in the front to catch the crumbs that dropdown.

This is really A Cut Above your standard Terry cloth eating cover for a little fun and class at mealtimes. Lovely quality material soft and comfortable yet durable. we have even used it under a black coat to simulate wearing a fancy dress with pearls LOL. I would recommend hand-washing although I believe you can machine wash it however make sure that the velcro pieces are closed together as I read in another review that if they are not together the velcro will shred the embroidered pearls and rose. It's too bad the manufacturers did not put a snap closure around the neck rather than velcro, like they did for the pocket closure at the bottom of the bib. I highly recommend the product though and even ordered the men's tuxedo and blue tie versions I really like them and plan to use one of the men's bibs as a fun and distinguished 75th Birthday gift. This is a classy bib especially for the older woman. It is really well made, the design sewed on. It is kind of long so I'm not too convinced the "crumb catcher" is going to be a whole lot of help. But removing the bib off someone, being careful, it'll work. Now with that being said, the crumb catcher is created when you take the bottom of the bib, turn it up and snap the two ends together. So be careful when removing as the two sides are open. If you know someone who lives in a convalescent home, assisted living home etc. they'll be so happy having this plus she'll (he'll) be the talk of the town when everyone sees how pretty the new bib is. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my mother as I had noticed in the retirement home, she was staying they were putting on these very daggy terry towelling dinning bibs and it looked humiliating and degrading. So, I thought I would give my mum some dignity back and it did that with style! She looked like she was really dressed for dinner and everyone who saw a picture of her, really thought she was wearing pearls. It was great. Not only is it stylish but functional. The only downside is the fact it clips closed instead of a pull over the head. Mum had difficulty closing the bib because her hands are not as nimble as they use to be, so she needed help to put it on. It is also very easy to clean. I'm glad I bought this for mum, and she uses it all the time.

I ordered this for my mother and she loves it! Ir's long enough to cover your lap and washes easily. Highly recommend.
