Best salt I’ve ever used!
I’ve tried a lot of different salts, but this one has become my favorite. I appreciate that it’s a healthy, single-source salt with minimal processing and no unnecessary additives. It has a clean, natural taste that enhances food without being overpowering. Knowing exactly where it comes from gives me confidence in the quality and purity of the product. I use it daily in my cooking and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, high-quality salt option.

REDMOND Real Sea Salt - no more cramps, good taste, easy to pour container.
Well these reviews definitely convinced me to try this brand of "unrefined" salt. After discovering a video that salt, specifically Celtic salt, which is salt that isn't processed, demineralized, and additives (like anti-clumping agents) is added, may help with my mineral deficiency problems. Just to give a quick background, I mainly needed to find something that would help with leg cramping (every morning), despite drinking tons of water before and during the night. I've also tried several other mineral "supplements" like potassium & magnesium vitamins, multi-vitamins, pedialyte and other electrolyte powders, even gatorade (but I didn't want the sugar) and the Zero sugar only comes in limited flavors. Anyway nothing seemed to help and I also wanted something economical. So I decided to try this unrefined salt thing. I did find Celtic salt but at the time it was sold out and was pretty pricey. So since I had no choice but to find something else, I ran into this brand. Also this seemed to be an inexpensive alternative ($16 for 26oz at the time of this review). So I tried it, first using only 1 teaspoon into my 30 oz water bottle, drinking it a few hours before bedtime. Result: Basically instantly, that first morning I had no cramping and haven't had any since adding this to my water every day. They have completely disappeared, as compared to having them EVERY morning like clockwork. And to make sure it was this salt that was making a difference, I didn't do any different activities, drink, or eat anything different in my daily routine other than adding this to my water. I didn't mind the slight salty water taste, but I found adding a little flavor squirt (those tiny bottles of concentrated flavor) to the water doesn't change the effectiveness of the salt so now I add some flavor to my waters in addition to the salt. I also tried a little in my coffee and it adds something different to the taste, which I actually like. And any time I want salt on something I add this stuff. I also ended up buying some Celtic salt after they came back in stock just to see if there was anything different with the quality and there really isn't. I mean my leg cramping stopped so it's not like I experienced anything more beneficial using the "Celtic salt" brand. But if money isn't an issue I would say they both work equally well. The only negative I have with this brand is that there is a tiny amount that doesn't dissolve. I get tiny bits of crystals or grains that end up on the bottom of whatever container I put it in, but it's not a lot. It's just if I drink all of it I end up having a few tiny crystals in my mouth that I end up crunching with my teeth. And this is even after leaving it in overnight and still not dissolving. And it's not bad, just a little annoying. I even bought a grinder that ground this up to an even finer grain, but those tiny crystals were still not dissolving. But the fix I had for this is that I just leave a very small amount of liquid on the bottom and just dump it out. The tiny undissolved crystals seem to be heavy enough that they drop to the bottom and stay there. Which brings me to a credit to "Celtic salt", that brand seemed to all dissolve and not have the left over problem. I also usually don't recommend any "supplements" to any of my friends because most it is subjective. But I am truly convinced that this is what cured my leg cramping/dehydration problems, and now all my friends that complain about cramping or dehydration I give them a little sample of this stuff to try. It comes in this soft bag that you can pour out of easily, but I transferred it to a jar with a lid so I can just scoop my teaspoon in easier. I found this stuff clumps easily. So make sure to always keep it tightly sealed and stored in a dry place. So other than the insoluble tiny amounts of crystals left on the bottom of my bottle, I definitely recommend to try this brand, it works for me at least.

great way to replenish electrolytes and tastes good
This salt was recommended to me last year when I had the flu and was having issues with dehydration. Since it is a mineral salt, it helps replenish electrolytes lost when sweating out fevers or exertion. I know a lot of people that use it for a table salt and love it, but I am very impressed with the hydration assistance. It is a natural product, no added ingredients and the texture is the same as a regular table salt. It only takes a tiny pinch in a glass of water.

Tasty Natural Salt
I have been using this brand of salt for several years. I have replaced the regular salt with this to cook with and to sprinkle on foods like watermelon. It does have a slightly different flavor but it’s still very tasty. It has health benefits that regular salt doesn’t. It’s also produced in the USA.

Perfect pouch with tasty salt.
Delicious salt in easy pour pouch. Good value and already small enough to sprinkle. Dissolves quickly in liquids. Pouch keeps salts dry with twist lid.

The best salt I know of, and the taste is excellent.
This is the real deal. All those flecks of color? Those are MINERALS!! And your body needs them. Our nation has been taught to fear sodium with no discernment of source or form-factor. Unfortunately it's also been feed a steady supply of REFINED white salt. Unlike natural salt, the refined stuff is acidifying and not healthy. My research has lead me to understand that we can consume quite a lot of salt, if it's unrefined and free of toxins. I won't name the amount, but it's more than anyone would normally want to consume. With this stuff I always season to taste with no concerns and no regrets. What about Pink Himalayan, you might ask? Sadly the majority of our supply is cut with substantial amounts of refined white salt. Because it's cheaper and you can't see the difference when they are done. After such a process it's no longer healthy or natural. I'm willing to eat sea salt in purchased products, and hope it's pure and clean, but for my home use (and even when traveling) I rely on Redmonds. And enjoy as much as my tongue calls for with no fear for my wellness. This is the good stuff! They also sell it in tiny travel shakers, though they are unfortunately in plastic rather than glass. Perfect to carry into that restaurant where you didn't really want to touch that big greasy shaker with the bleached white garbage in it anyway! It's also available in rock-salt granules if you like a course grind. Enjoy!

ITS NOT SAND. It’s minerals that don’t all dissolve. Cmon people.
Ok, so this salt is awesome. Some of these reviews are absolutely hilarious. There’s no sand in this, there’s minerals and silica that do not dissolve. Silica, like calcium is necessary for bone formation and maintenance, which means it could help stave off osteoporosis. It can also prevent aluminum from building up in the body, and high aluminum levels are a potential risk factor for Alzheimer’s. Yeah it’s gritty, it’s unrefined SEA SALT from the SEA. (Someone wrote this product is misleading as it doesn’t come from the sea and it’s pink salt. LOL. Read a page or two before you spew. It comes from an ancient seabed deep beneath Central Utah. Ahh, the sea!! Most salts in the stores use anti caking agents and other garbage, and are filled with micro plastics. You buy Redmond products because you research what you eat, you understand the toxins in most grocery store products and last of all because you research and care about what you can control going into your body. I use salt immediately when I wake up, add it to EVERY meal and take 1g pre workout 1g post workout. Electrolytes and minerals baby. This salt is awesome.
