Sturdy and feel well built. Used in a medium sized outdoor kitchen island build and comfortably support the weight. Excellent brakes as well.

I bought 3 sets of these to add to the bottom of some large vegetable planters that need to be able to move for the sun but be placed elsewhere when the garden is for entertaining. Each planter was 1mX1mX60cm and made from scaffold boards. The wheels had no problem taking the weight of them filled (with close to 1/2 metric ton of soil) and were smooth when manovering the planters. They also lock securely and keep the planters where they should be.

Only just fitted today to replace some smaller casters on a lightweight Ikea sofa.The good:The casters are very good and were one of the best value sets I could find at the time, I really like the easy unlock lever where you can just press down instead of having to kneel on the floor or whatever to pull forward to release as with most casters.They seem good quality, though there is some slight play in the bearing of the swivel rotary movement, as mine is only for a sofa moving a meter now and again I'm not worried, if fitted to an item say in a workshop or larger area then I'd wonder.The bad:The supplied fixing are not fit for purpose and do not match the listed 'bolt screws (35mm X 14mm)'.You are supplied with only standard bolts and nuts, no flat washers and spring washers to prevent damage to the casters, the item been fitted to, or any means to prevent them coming loose due to vibration (hence the need for either spring washers with standard nuts, or Nylock nuts).You do not list bolt dimensions by the width of the bolt head and the max total length, these are in fact M8 x 25mm bolts measuring the diameter and length of the bolts threaded section (this is basic mechanical principles, as a rail technician I can't help but palm face!). Because of this, there were insufficient threads left after fitting the REQUIRED washers and so needed to source my own bolts.In conclusion, good casters, rubbish fixtures. Either sell without the fixtures or do better research and provided one's fit for purpose and don't cheap out!!!

We bought these for our heavy sofa bed and what a difference they have made the sofa now glides in and out with ease and the locking is an added bonus would highly recommend.
