Shovel is light but strong. Handle is uncomfortable so I added some parachute chord and made it easier to grip.

I didn't think I'd use this shovel much, I'd always found other tools to dig cat holes with, but on a recent trail this little shovel was perfect, light weight, but tough. The ground was hard and full of roots and this trowel worked great and never bent. I wrapped the handle with gorilla tape so the edges were not sharp. Good buy

I had one that kept digging into my hand rather than the ground, so I replaced it with this one. I picked this for the longer handle. It's comfortable to my hand while digging. It went on bikepacking trips short and long. Dangling it on the saddle bag which acted as a bear bell (somewhat), too 😂 Nothing to complain about.

These are ok. If you are dealing with any sort of roots or rocks then...digging sucks...and you're going to be there for awhile. Also REALLY recommend wrapping the handle with paracord or even duct tape for short term or you will shred/hurt your hands. National Forest tested...and it survived...but my hands wouldn't have if I wouldn't have felt how sharp the edges were and wrapped it ahead of time. Other than that it's light, mostly sturdy- it will flex some if you are trying to get around roots or rocks but didnt bend during my use. Coated material mostly survived the abuse and days of rain. If the edges were more rounded and thick or the handle already wrapped or something I probably would have given it another star.

Small, light and awesome It is actually a decent "mini multi tool" I bot it as a small shovel for my camping kit. It is indeed small, but for small tasks it absolutely does the trick. The serrated edges come in handy as do the little wrench holes in the handle. These come in handy for grabbing aluminum tent pegs that are hard to grasp. The handle is sorta small, sorta sharp, so be mindful of that, you might need to wrap a cloth around it or use a glove if doing a lot of shoveling with it. This is not a backhoe or a conventional shovel, so I doubt you will be digging a trench with it.
