Saved upstairs for the summer!
Bought 2 to create cross breeze. Set one to Cool and second to Exhaust. Works like a dream and has made upstairs bearable again. Easy install, thin enough that you don't need to remove window screens. Sides slide easily and tabs on top and bottom hold securely into sides of window frame along with the window on top. Remote doesn't come with AAA batteries. So happy with this purchase.

I LOVE IT!! Works well but buzzes
June 12, 2022, update: I am adding a new found reason why this fan is AMAZING and why I just ordered a 2nd one. Today I noticed that the bug screen was plugged with cotton-wood fluff (it’s that time of year in Vancouver). All I had to do was remove the bug screen, clean it, and put it back on. Very easy and quick! The reason why this is AMAZING is because all my previous window fans required me to remove the front grill, clean it, clean the blades, and then use 1000’s of Q-tips to clean the back grill. This is so easy and very convenient. I’m not saying dust won’t ever get into the fan and make the blades and grill get dirty, but the bug screen will make the task much less frequent. ****I LOVE IT**** I live in the Vancouver BC area and last summer we experienced an excruciating heat dome so I decided to buy this item in January 2022 when supply was not a problem. I finally needed it this week (May 30/22). I’ve had several window fans over the years. I chose this one because of the remote control, and the bug screen and cover. My window slides open so it is installed vertically. The “fins” that pull out on each end are cheap. One side came apart. No big deal, I prefer to use a piece of cardboard to fill the gap between the fan and the top inside edge of the window. The fan works very well. It does have an audible buzz to it when turned on, but it’s a lot quieter than my air conditioner and uses little electricity to operate. The bonus is that I can use the remote control to change fan direction from cooling the room to blowing out stale air. Last night was my first time using it and at 3:00am a skunk sprayed near the building. It was a luxury to be able to grab the remote from my bed and switch the blades to blow out. In the past I had to get up, remove the window fan, and close the window. Then - try to figure out how to get the stench out of the room. So overall I am very happy with the product.

Would be great except for the rattle and beeps
Overall really nice and moves enough air to cool down and ventilate an average size bedroom. It will bring down the temp several degrees once the temp outside is at or below room temp, and it keeps the CO2 levels around 500-600 with one person in the room (quite good for anyone unfamiliar with IAQ). The remote is a nice feature, and as someone who likes white noise, the fan speeds don’t bother me from a sound perspective. I would give this 5 stars except for the deafening volume of the beeps when you change fan speed or direction. Do not plan to mess with these features after anyone in the house is asleep. I don’t understand why they had to be so loud or even exist at all. If there was a way to turn the beeps off this would be a stellar product for the price.

Great Fan With an Exhaust Setting
This fan works very well. As you can see from the photo, my window is very old and busted, so I needed to add some tape around the edges to keep bugs out. I primarily bought this fan for two reasons: 1. Vent the hot air out of my room. 2. Vent cigarette smoke outside. This fan succeeds on both. Keeps the room nice and cool while also keeping the smell of smoke out. It's a *little* bit louder than other fans I've had, but it's not extremely loud. Installation was very easy, the one caveat is that the locking adjustable sides can be a bit... finnicky. My window is very wide, so I needed to extend them to their max size, and the locks kept unlocking with the amount of pressure the sides were producing inwards. However, I got it installed and it's now working great. The remote works out of the box. It takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). I'd recommend this fan for anyone who wants to keep their room cool, or vent cigarette smoke.

a very well priced window fan
Pros: -full featured unit with remote control that works -everything worked right out of the box - no issues with any parts or remote -generally well designed and fit the window as expected - not a perfect window seal none of these units are you'll have to add your own insulation -very quiet - you can sleep with it no problem at all -moves air in accordance to dual twin 9" fans - good for spring and fall not for hot summer Cons: -really I don't have any except the same that would apply to any window fan - that is to say, you can use it as an exhaust when the room is too hot or as an intake when the outside temperature is cooler that the indoor temperature, but to leave it as a permanent mount when it's hot outside and cool inside is completely counterintuitive since the unit is not sealed and does not come with any sort of cap to cover all the opened grating therefore let's heat in - I remove it from the window and close the window altogether but it's an inconvenience as is with all window fans Overall I highly recommend this unit thus far (don't know how long it will last) this is a very good spring and fall unit but will not help you much/at all during the summer - even as a twin 9" blades simply can't move enough air to make a difference during a hot summer day

Nothing fancy, does the job
I bought this fan to replace the Bonaire window fan I had purchased a few years ago that somehow got stuck on circulate mode. This fan functions as expected. However, compared to the Bonaire and other window fans I've owned, the motor is louder. The fan blades are quiet but the motor hums louder than expected. The fan itself feels very cheap and lightweight, especially compared to the Bonaire, but the Bonaire is more expensive. It comes with a remote, but no batteries. It also comes with attachable feet to make this a tabletop fan which adds a surprising versatility.

Affordable and perfect for those hot days!
I've only used the fan once but it is perfect! It sits in my window nicely and I love the power it has. It's really easy to use and set up. I love the remote control aspect. You never know when a hot flash will hit, lol. Lots of airflow and I absolutely love the bug screens that come with it! I never knew that was an option. Excellent product all around. I actually have a 2nd one in my cart for purchase now.

WOW to WTF. 💯 NOT recommend
Second season of use. Install. Turn in. One fan doesn’t work. Piece of crap. Aldi has a similar fan for $20 less. Remote and two way with multiple options. Might as well be the same thing. A fan should not break by the third season at this price. Epic fail. ⭐️ Leaving original review below so everyone who wants to believe in a five star may have this at first. In this state you only need a fan for maybe four months on and off. Especially with this vintage property designed for wind flow since AC wasn’t in existence back in the day. Plus, not designed for central air. Tip, before getting central air in an older designed house from early 19th century, lots of complaints the second floor doesn’t cool. Design issues are due to those houses likely have air flow built in. Though in hot days an exhaust fan or ac can help. I bought portable ac’s for each room to plug into the venting system. With modest use I’ve never had a fan break down after two seasons EVER. Will never repurchase this brand at this price. My first statement in the original review makes me laugh now. I totally understand why someone would consider this fan a piece of crap after a half year of use. Meaning six months. If insurance sold at a few dollars I would recommend this. I’ve had great success with the times I’ve needed replacement on electronics. Never thought for a minute I’d need fan insurance. Less then paying to replace. But for this fan price can buy two at Aldi with remotes and do the same exact work and look similarly. Major disappointment /\ update I'm not certain why someone doesn't like this fan. It exceeds my expectations and I'd read the description. Actually having it in use is a magical experience. How? I'd previously been using a box fan. Turn in or out depending on the need. I'd owned a fan similar to this year ago BUT it didn't do all these functions. Or have a remote. The house I bought from 1900 is designed not to need air conditioning. It has two windows in each room on opposite walls. Plus the attic. The cool air pulls through the house when doors are opened. Rarely do I ever need to cool the house except on the second floor facing the sun on one side in the afternoon or when humidity is obnoxious. Since I have a dog and we like to be outside I work to keep cool air to a minimum so we enjoy being outdoors with no complaints all summer. What I really wanted to be a fan like this. Looks attractive. Assists with air movement either outside or into the house. The ’circulate’ option is fantastical. The dog loves it and is laying in front of it with his nose toward the breeze. He's never done this before. Big old German Shepherd is a happy boy, too. I'd priced similar at big box hardware stores. I'm so glad I went with this one here. It's perfect and the best price of all the stores I browsed. I will be buying more for other rooms. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯😁

Love it!
It works so good. I love the different options it has. My one dislike is the beep it makes every time you push a button. Either than that its great.

Puedo dormir tranquilamente.

Pleased overall but expanders are useless
Overall, I am quite happy with it so far and feel I received good value for the price (bought it on Prime Day for $68). It moves air pretty well and while I didn't think I would have much use for the circulate option that's what I use most of the time. Bit noisy at top speed but I live downtown and get so much noise through the window to begin with (traffic, sirens, yelling weirdos, etc.) that the fan noise becomes white noise for me however, if you are used to a quiet bedroom this may be an issue for you. I like having the remote so I don't have to get out of bed at night to change settings. Only negative thing and the reason I took off a star from my rating is that the accordion expanders are garbage, as they won't lock into place. I use the fan vertically in the window and there is absolutely no way I would trust them to hold the fan in place so I had to improvise. I use the bug screen on the outward facing side all the time in addition to the window screen and like having the fabric screen to put on when I go out so I don't have to worry about the schmutz coming in from the street all day. There was no problem fitting the fan into my window. Update August 25, 2024: Happy to say that the fan is still working as well as when I starting using it last year. With the heat we've had, it has been on more days and for longer periods of continuous time so I am still very pleased with my purchase.
