The Arch 2000 insole provides stability, support, and full-length/lightweight cushioning. Dual layer cushioning provides the maximum amount of cushioning possible. The inner cushion is a layer or PORON Cellular Urethane, which provides superior shock absorption for the entire foot. PORON is lightweight and durable; it does not harden like PVC foam, does not break down like Latex foam, or take a compression set like EVA foam. The anatomically shaped arch support and extra deep heel cup combine to deliver maximum support and stability. The Biostatic top cover helps fight against unwanted odors. By controlling the amount the foot slides across the insole's surface, the anti-friction top cover helps prevent blisters and keeps feet cooler and drier.

Worth absolutely every penny! These work every day, mile after mile!
A preface: I just realized this while writing this review. For years i purchased "insoles" because my feet hurt, however my actual problem was my broken down arches.History: Long ago injuries, fallen flat arches and a big guy with a lifetime of jobs that require endless walking and standing on concrete floors 12 hours per day. I beat my work shoes apart in 6 - 9 months.I spent years with pain, probably spent over $1000 on Dr. Scholl's, etc, special plantar fasciitis insoles, gel insoles ( even more worthless than the others) and custom arch support insoles that just made the pain worse. The ones that helped at all fell apart in short order.Barely able to walk i set out to one morning determined to find shoes that didn't hurt at any cost. Notice here i was blaming my shoes which at that time were quality US made boots. Hours later i hobbled into a shoe store and started talking to the salesman, (who actually knew what he was talking about as opposed to everyone else i spoke to that day) he didn't try to sell me shoes, he recommended these insoles.I am at a loss for words to convey the amount of relief. Don't be put off by spending $35 for "a pair of insoles". These work every day, mile after mile.I feel a need to clarify here:If your feet hurt because your shoes are hard insoles can provide padding. My feet hurt because of my damaged arches needed support, conventional arch supports are static, the material has a set amount of lift built in plus the ability to be compressed and spring back. My left and right arches are very different and a set amount of lift in off the shelf products would be identical. The custom arch supports were made to my foot but still only static support, they also raised my heel excessively. The Arch 1000's have a plastic "spring" for support, this would be an active or dynamic form of support that can continuously react to your needs. Think of it this way, your car rides on springs not foam blocks. As stated, my shoes are shot in 6 - 9 months, i always put a new pair of Arch 1000's in my new shoes.Product life:The other brands fell apart long before 6 months, sometimes in a month. The custom pieces which i was assured were good for "several years" compressed down and crumbled to powder, the material looked baked. The gel insoles were just plain worthless -- great advertising however. While the Arch 1000's blue top will show some wear and occasionally i have worn all the way through the toe area the orange material never compresses down, it is still supple and springy and i have never observed any wear or damage to the black plastic arch support section.Summary: These work, they hold up, worth the money!Note: For the reader who questions the 6 - 9 month life of my shoes, for years i purchased US made boots, much more expensive, lasted longer and 3 times heavier than the light shoes i wear now. I work in an industrial setting that is hard on shoes and as i got older i couldn't cover the required miles in the heavy boots anymore.

and these are my favorite. They have great support in the arch
I bought 5 of the top-rated shoe inserts on Amazon, and these are my favorite. They have great support in the arch, but allow the toe to move. That's important, according to multiple foot doctors I've spoken to, because you want your toe to bend without too much resistance, but for the arch to the heel to be firm. Pick up any pair of running shoes and you'll see that they bend at/through the toe, but are extremely firm from the midfoot to the heel. These inserts do the same, and were a welcome addition to some shoes I had with only mediocre support. They do add some height to the shoe, which makes them incompatible with some shoes, but I don't think there's a way to add sufficient support without adding some height.Great for anyone with foot pain, and I would even use them as running shoe inserts.I will note that if you have low arches these probably aren't for you. My arches are quite high, and these work perfectly! I'm size 13 and this was perfect. Very glad to have found something that will prevent additional damage to my foot, which I broke a few months back due to shoes with poor stability and support.

great arch support
very good arch support, even though size is just a tiny bit smaller than I expected. My impression is that they'd last for years.

Great Product Great Price
Some modification needs to be made for a perfect fit but they offer great support throughout the day and into the night. The price is reasonable.
