Purchased this to monitor the water cisterns in my basement. First, took care to thoroughly clean the unit as it arrived with noticeable oil/grease/metal grime. Second, once I finally got it all wired up using my 24 VDC supply and Auber PID WiFi controller with external 265-ohm (measured) resistor, it worked great! For about 12 hours. After that, I was able to see it work for about 5 minutes after an extended power outage - now nothing. Quick troubleshooting shows that this unit is definitely the problem. Save your money, put it towards a quality unit from a name brand - this thing is junk! PS - electrical control systems engineer with 18 years experience, know what I'm doing, thought I could go cheap and was 100% wrong.
