There is no battery. To heat water, the unit must be plugged into a cigarette lighter port in your car, or into a wall outlet.

How do you add hot creame? Or steam milk ? I would think this would need a way to make steamed milk or half and half. Bet if you put it in a capsule

It would work but by time you brew coffee and milk coffee would be cold takes about five min for one
