I also have my roots which are dark with grey when they come through and some ash dark blonde light brown to break it up a little. For me to keep the non yellow but Icy blonde colour I have found this is by far the best product. In the past I have used toners along side purple shampoos and have used a wide variety of these. My hair dresser recommended this one the last time I went as she used it on me. I was impressed with the colour but skeptic just doing that would keep it . Happy to say that was March and blonde colour still as icy. You use it instead of your usual shampoo and just leave it on as required. Once a week or more depending on your desired colour.
