It’s Todd Hido
Loved this book. It’s one of his classics.

Todd Hido is one of his generation’s greatest photographers.
I have bought every book by Hido since his first. His cinematic world is so authentic to me that I have also purchased several of his original photographs which I prize. This book was packed well and arrived quickly in perfect condition. I would buy from this seller again. I don’t usually write reviews but this is a terrific volume for someone new to Hido’s world and shows all of his books and his progression as a photographer over the decades.

Excellent survey of Hido's work, marred by poor photo placement
I'd give this excellent book an unequivocal 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that about 10% of the photos are spread between two pages with the crease of the page ruining the presentation of the photo (at least to my taste). However, the other reproductions are of excellent quality and the book is a very good survey of Hido's oeuvre. I am baffled by why an artist would allow their work to be printed across pages with the crease in the middle. It prevents the viewer from seeing the photo accurately and without distraction. I'd much prefer to view a smaller representation of the photo than see it this way.

One of the best photobooks i've seen this year
One of the best photobooks i've seen this year: by the size & weight of it, you know it's much more than the usual book. Fabulous photos & layout, all in a chronological order, making things simple to locate. Also mention the brown ribbon bookmark, a clever idea for a photobook. Highly recommended!!!

Such an impressive body of work by Todd Hido. The book is well made and the print quality excellent. Must have for any Hido fan.
