Great product, right out of the bag . I use as a stand alone / with Botanicare kind series , and performs as well as Cyco brand coco .

Compared to the several other coco coir brands I've tried, including CANNA, this one is by far the best in every way. I'll never use any other brand as long as this exists, and I hope it does for a very long time.-perfect sized grind. a little bigger than CANNA. better drainage without being too big.-physical quality of the actual coco is superb.-you can literally smell the cal-mg emitting from this stuff. outstanding prebuffering. With clean H2O (distilled, etc.), you'll have 800EC or so right out of the bag due to the prebuffering.-I've had zero cal-mg deficiencies WITHOUT using any cal-mg supplement.

I've been buying the bricks, rehydrate, rinse, buffer, but was never really comfortable with the quality I was getting for my plants. I had purchased this bag of Royal Gold Coco fiber on a recommendation and as a comparison to see how much better the non-brick options could be, and I'm really impressed. The quality of the coco is outstanding. It took a month from ordering until it arrived, but we're in the middle of a pandemic, so I won't hold that against the sellers. If you need good, clean coco, this is great stuff.
