Howard Products Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish & Conditioner, 8 oz, Orange

I’ve refinished a lot of wood pieces. Normally I don’t recommend using oils on most modern surface finishes because they don’t do much except attract dust and do little to nothing else. This though, in the right application is a great product. Where this really shines (forgive the unintentional pun) is on older worn out finishes where it can actually penetrate into the wood grain. It’s a very greasy product to work with. But after a few minutes you’ll see the grain has absorbed some of the oils. Bees wax is very soft, this won’t leave much surface protection against liquids or abrasion, so it’s best for furniture that won’t get heavy use like dining tables. But in some of the aging wood furniture I have, and my 5 year old cabinets, I have to give this stuff the 5 stars. It’s not a substitute for a full refinish, but for those old, dull or flaking lacquer finishes that need some lustre, this is a great maintenance choice. It will need reapplication periodically. I recently picked up a sewing machine table from a giveaway pile. The lacquer finish was pretty badly flaking, but the wood is in good condition. This really did it good, enhancing the wood and the beeswax leaving a nice lustre on it. I did have a black ring left behind under a clay plant saucer, so be aware that this isn’t moistureproof like a poly finish, but for a quick and effective rejuvenate on that old dresser or dining room hutch, give this a try. Old socks are great for applying and polishing.

I have used this product on so many things. I can't get over the performance every time. The orange oil soaks into the wood. The beeswax stays on top. After a few minutes, you buff and whatever you are working on, looks brand new. I bought a small bootle the first time, and ended up buying gallon jugs, because I wanted to refinish EVERYTHING! Right now, I am tackling my 22 year old back porch. It was dirty and grey. I sanded each board, swept all the dust off, then applied the Feed and Wax with a paint brush. I let it sit for about 5 minutes, then buffed with a hand towel. Temperature was 85°. You can tell the stark difference, also the water beading up on top. I use this product on chopping blocks, wood counter tops, furniture, refinishing tobacco pipes and much more. It's just the best stuff out there if you do a lot with wood. The more you buff it, the prettier and shinier it gets.Smells good, easy to apply, the finish lasts for a long time. Hand clean up is easy, just rub it in! It's all natural. Brush clean up, just do like I do and rub it into a towel and designate it as your brush for Feed and Wax application. The smaller bottles have a flip application top that you can pop with one finger, squeeze, and never take the cap off. The gallon jug has a screw off cap, so you can pour it out into a pan or refill the small bottle. Once you use this, you will never use anything else.

Feed-N-Wax is hands down the best wood conditioner I’ve ever used. It keeps my solid wood front doors looking rich, nourished, and full of life, even in the brutal Arizona heat. The blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and orange oil soaks in beautifully, bringing out the depth of the grain while leaving a soft, natural sheen that feels smooth but never greasy. It not only enhances the wood’s natural beauty, it actually helps protect it from drying, fading, or cracking. Perfect for furniture, and I also use it on all of my oak cabinets every other month to keep them looking warm and polished.

Hands down, this is the best wood polish and conditioner out there. I am a custodian at a university. I decided to try it on some cabinets that were worn and it looked like the only option was to refinish and stain to bring them back to life. I decided to try this after reading all the reviews. I am sure glad I did. This stuff can do wonders! The key is to wipe off once you get the desired result. Game changer. I like this stuff so much that I am buying another bottle just to do my wood trim and cabinets at home. Custodian approved!

This was recommended for rosewood fretboards. It does shine them up. We will see how well it holds up to use. I’ve been doing lemon oil about once a year. This has some wax. I’m hoping this takes more abuse.

This polish is great. It completely covered scratches on my kitchen cabinets and other items I polished. I didn’t expect it to do that well at all.

Excellent product! 5 stars fore sure! Wood loves this stuff! It moisturizes your furniture & leaves a beautiful shine! protects your wood too! I use this as recommended by Howard, for wood protection, after using restore finish stuff. I highly recommend all the Howard products! They definitely KNOW wood! 5 stars for sure!
