My 90 y/o mom has decided she doesn't care for leftovers. Really? this frual woman that raised me. Anyway, there is just so much room in the freezer so thought I would give this a try. It works like any other slow cooker but I can make more tha enough for us with a little leftover for me. The stoneware is easy to wash - big ones are so bulky and heavy. I can make homemade applesauce in one side and a stew in the other. You can use also use just one side. The whole thing is not too heavy.
