simple style, simple function, cheap and it works
easy as heck to install, just read the paper you'll get with it. I don't see a problem with durability or build quality. It feels a little cheap in the switches, but that's fair for the cheap part it is. Overall, its a lot nicer than the 1990s thermostat my house had.

Purchased for elderly parents
We replaced my parents programable thermostat with this manual round one. The programable thermostat became too confusing for my 87 year old parent to use and so far, he considers this less complicated and more user friendly. It was easy to install and works perfectly with his older furnace. Would highly recommend for aging parents or anyone who wants a no nonsense thermostat.

LOVE IT.
Installed this yesterday and already love it. Discarded that pesky programmed piece of garbage. Now I just set it at 70 when I get up and turn it down to 55 at night when I go to bed. Simple. No batteries needed and temp is right on.
