It dried quickly and adhered very well. I did follow a recommendation from another cake creator who suggested to color the fondant with gold food coloring prior to applying a gold paint. The gold food coloring just creates a warm yellow colored underbase to help hide blend in any areas with lighter coverage or bare spots. I used the Americolor gold.

A little goes a long way. I bought it to coat marshmallows. I coated two full bags of marshmallows and still have some gold dust left. Great luster and tasteless.
