SIM Router That Changed Everything
I honestly wish I had upgraded to this SIM card router sooner. We spent two years struggling with our old setup — barely able to use the TV, and if someone was streaming, no one else could get online. Most of the time, my housemates had to sit right next to the router, and even then only two people could connect. Speeds were slow to very slow, and coverage only reached 2–3 rooms. This new SIM card router has been a massive upgrade. It now covers the whole house with high speeds, even in our rural area where signal is usually weak. Setup was easy, and I even managed to change the password — that took a little more effort, but it was still straightforward and impressive. Hardly any issues since, and now everyone can stream or watch TV in their own rooms without a problem. Reliable, fast, and with great coverage — exactly what we needed.

Good 4g alternative to fiber and copper based WiFi options
I live in a third floor flat and was looking for a WiFi solution as my current supplier (full fiber) was unable to supply. The 5g coverage is outside only, so I decided to go for this 4g router as 4g coverage is excellent in this area. I have paired this router with a Smarty unlimited data SIM on a monthly DD payment (currently £20 pcm). My use is to stream TV Amazon fire tv (I have used a cable to the router ), working from home on lap top (multiple screens, browser tabs, Citrix corporate apps), tablet, mobile phone. This product works extremely well, speed is better than the connection in the office and whilst upload speeds are slower than the fiber I had, they are perfectly adequate for my use. My expectations for this products performance have been exceeded. The connection process was easy and my printer (CannonT55350i) and home and work laptops connected with ease, and worked well together, simply putting in the password on the bottom of the router. Coverage is not tested a one bedroom flat. I have it positioned adjacent to an external wall. Good value purchase and a realistic long term replacement to fiber and far better than copper, and with the smarty simm there is freedom from expensive contracts and punitive exit fees.

Perfect 4G router
Purchased this router as was moving house Into an Airbnb where the internet was below 5MBs so looked at the reviews and was hesitant but after using for the past couple of weeks I can safely say this is the best purchase I've made for a while! Purchased an Lebara SIM card with unlimited data for £9 popped it into the back for the router, scanned the QR code and was setup in under 5 minutes and now have speeds of 100MBs which is amazing! The interface is great and if to depend some time on can configure to your needs!! I have a PS5, firestick, phones and laptop connected and no issues and would recommend to anyone on two minds about purchasing this and could get a USB plug for this and use it in your car or even camping Quality build is great and light as well and bang on for value for money! Had some poor weather recently in the UK but this didn't change a thing! Strong and consistent signal throughout and very easy to update the firmware if needed.

Great 4G router, but developers still actively working through some glitches
Good little 4G SIM unlocked router. As an IT professional, needing an internet connection via 4G and not wanting to spend the earth on one, this fit the bill. It is only 2.4Ghz for the wi-fi signal, but seeing as 4G throughout is nowhere near the wi-fi speeds on 2.4ghz that's fine. The user interface is not badly thought out, with sections for the various functions it can do. Setting it up in the UK was relatively easy with a Giff-Gaff SIM card, the Wizard worked well and connected fine with a good signal strength. Once connected, it was good most of the time for 2 teens and my spouse, though we did manage to blow through 15gb of data in one and a half days necessitating an unlimited plan rather faster than I had hoped. Speed wise was great with multiple users on Netflix and YouTube relatively unaffected by each others usage. Unfortunately there is a big bug in the base firmware that Cudy are aware of and actively working on that we would suddenly have no connection to the internet, but still able to connect to the router over wi-fi. According to the interface on the router, the 4g was still connected, but it didn't pass the internet through anymore. It could be fixed easily enough by either rebooting the router with the power switch, our by running through the set up Wizard and just clicking next at each stage without changing anything. But not ideal solution. I emailed their support not expecting much with the problem and a copy of the system log and got a reply within 24 hours with a new firmware upload to try out. It didn't fix the problem so I sent another email with the log and received another version of firmware to try out. It worked for longer without disconnecting but still did not completely fix the problem. Unfortunately, now I am not in that place anymore so can't continue to work with their support until I return which is a shame as I think they were close to fixing it. I have left the router automatically rebooting on a schedule at 3 am every day in case it happens while I am not there to fix it. If they can get this fixed I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friend and family needing a 4g internet connection, but until they do, I can't. Having said that, there are some really nice features in the router interface from the traffic totals to using 4g as a back up to a normal broadband connection which are great at this price point.

Adequate but ultimately slower than others in this price range
I bought the Cudy LT400 because I was in need of another 4G router and it was on special offer. Setting up is a doddle, took no time at all. Connected to Three immediately and seems to hold a good signal with Three. I should add that I also have a TP-Link AC1200 4G router - I needed the additional one for our holiday home. Compared with the AC1200, the Cudy is not great both in terms of signal strength and range of signal. Using Speedtest, it was significantly slower both in terms of download and upload at all distances that I measured. So, it's an OK 4G router but no more than that - and there are other products out there that may well prove better at a similar price point. Update: I received a brilliant response from Cudy after I wrote my review. They were staggeringly helpful and understanding. I would have no qualms about buying from Cudy based upon their after sales service.

Ottimo router 4G Cudy LT400!
Straconsigliato!

Nil tech setup and great performance.
I have recently migrated from a DSL internet setup which was becoming increasingly dated and unreliable, a problem of living in a rural area where only one 'phone company has a monopoly on services. I was cautious and did not want to commit financially to a big outlay for an idea that might not work so I purchased this Cudy N300 as a lower cost experimental introduction to cellular internet. I only need to say I am extremely pleased and satisfied with the result. The Cudy N300 was inexpensive, simple to set up and provides excellent performance. I believe I am about a mile from the cellular antenna the Cudy uses but it performs well with no external antenna. I just measured my up/down speeds and presently have 14M download and 7 M upload, this compares with 1.8 and 0.9 with the DSL system. I have seen values as high as 25/18 on other occasions with no other arrangements than positioning the Cudy on an upper floor near a window and roughly pointing it in the direction of the cellular antenna. Originally our family has had cellular service with AT&T with home landlines and internet provided by the "other" company. I have transferred all services to AT&T on their Premier plan so presently we have three cellphones, an Apple watch and two data sim. cards with AT&T who have been amazingly helpful and patient during the complex transition to their service. The two data sim cards are interchangeable in the Cudy, each card has 50Gb of data time so if I run out of data on one card (which may happen near the end of the period) I simply switch the sim card in the Cudy and off we go again. This is not an advertisement for AT&T but it is relevant to the concept of changing to an all cellular service. Our original land line service with internet and add-ons was costing us $104 per month. This service has been terminated. The increase in cost of our cellular service with AT&T, for one cellphone line and two data sim cards, is $45. Not bad since we get improved internet service together with a $60 dollars a month saving. I gave 3 stars for tech support, average, not because it was deficient but I simply did not need it so I can't give a true score. .
