Globe Hg Bantam ST Cruiser Boards

If not for the squeaky bushings, I would have given it 5 stars. I bought the black/white marble coz dirt wouldn't look obvious on it. Board flexes coz it's thinner than the other standard bantam from Globe n thus lighter. It weighs 1.74kg. Great to lug around n just cruise when it's time to roll!Update:It's been a few months since I got this n I made some adjustments to it. I swapped out the bearings to Bone Reds bearings. The spin duration increased from about 10sec to 24sec. And after breaking it in, it spun to about 30sec. So I would recommend changing the bearings if u wanna maximise your skating experience.The other thing I changed was the bushings. I suspect it came with hard bushings which I had trouble carving since I'm only about 100lbs. I switched them to soft bushings n turning was a breeze. However it was very unstable when going down hill and I almost fell. So I bought medium bushings and I think it's perfect for me. I also realised the squeaky sound wasn't actually from the bushings but the tip of the trucks in contact with the board. I added some silicon grease at the contact point and it's much quieter now.After the adjustments, I now give my skateboard a 5-star rating.

i was looking for a cruiser cheaper than a penny and just as good. so i ordered this and thought it was pretty good. however i ended up returning it due to the fact that the bushings RIPPED OUT!!!!??? i was riding it like normal and did a turn and one of the bushings just ripped??? i returned the product and got something WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!! a STEREO VINYL CRUISER dude these things come with stickers sunglasses and a keychain!!!! this board comes in all colors and all you have to do is adjust your truck tightness and maybe swap out bearings for like 13 dollars..reds. this board is only 44.99 and i got free prime 2 day shipping. overall the stereo vinyl is cheaper better quality and more durable than the globe bantam st. dont buy this go for a stereo:)

Let me start out by saying, I never rode a skateboard before and everyone told me I would fall (which of course I did) but this has got to be one of the funnest purchases I have ever made! This board is so small and easy to take with me, I find myself carrying it a lot. I went from total beginner to someone who can maneuver and skate pretty confidently around town, and I don't see myself carrying around a longboard, so it was just right for me. If your on the fence take my advice and buy one! You will get a lot of fun for your money! Enjoy!

I would recommend this to 98 pound weaklings because when I stepped on it I thought it was going to bend and break. Anyway, I gave it to my stepson who said it would work for him. I'm still waiting for it to get to the Philippines so he can use it.

it's cheap, but its a little flexy. I never feel quite stable on this thing, and that is with the realization that it's a short board. bearings arent super fast, but considering the build quality, that's okay with me.

The skate is the same. I was really happy but the first day the wheels were complete destroy... The quality is very poor... Just the wheels are more expensive that all the board... Maybe is better buy a penny board

It is an excellent cruiserboard, and the paint doesn't come off unlike others. It rides very smooth.Just put done Vaseline on the bushings so that it doesn't squeak when you stand in it.

People giving this a 1 star rating must've just had a bad experience. I own a penny and a Bantam ST, they're both unique. The Bantam kind of seems to hug your shoes and the flexibility of it seems to make it feel as if it just eases its way over differently elevated grounds. I really like it. It's worth the buy. I just don't like the color selection for the lack of customization. Other than that it's a really nice board, it feels like it maneuvers around better than the penny too. I weigh 183lb right now and I can say that the flexibility doesn't bother me. Unless you're in the 230 range ... I don't recommend it for you, you'll probably drag the center all over the side walk ... Don't listen to the 1 and 2 star reviews, this is a great board.
