What is the longest USB cable that can be used without affecting this camera's performance?

You can use whatever cable length you need. You need to make sure that in your cable you have a signal regenerator. This will give a boost to the signal. Like for instance I ran a plenum rated cable 32 feet in length through the ceiling of my classroom. I was able to do this because the cable had a signal regenerator in it. Hopefully this helps you.

does this camera has microphone and loud speakers?

Does it have overheating issues?

In my experience, it does get warm/hot to the touch while being used but I have never experienced overheating issues with the few of these we have.
