Adore 12" Standing Puffy The Silkie Chicken Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

I mean. It's a chicken stuffy. Nothing fancy. My son loves our paint silkie so we colored in some spots to make it Wally. Just a cute gift for him. It's soft. It's cute.

I love my chicken! She's soft, sturdily made and lifelike. I make plush animals myself, so I have an appreciation for how hard it is to make something this realistic and still have it be soft and cuddly. This company did a great job. Yes, the "bangs" (fringe) are sewn down, but I left it just like that and Ramona (what I named her, because she's mine) still looks great. This is a great plush for an adult, though I suspect children would like her, too. You can't go wrong with this plush!!!

I bought this chicken to be a prop in a play and I could not be happier. It was so cute, soft and full of personality that it inspired the funniest ad lib scene in the entire show, and the actor was so attached I had to gift it to him. The smiley perfectly matches his glee while in possession of this fine hen. Also stands up pretty well. It matches up size wise with the smaller hens on which it is based. Buy and you will not be disappointed.

This is now one of my 10 year olds favorite stuffies. 2 of her friends want one. 1 of her friends has a pet name for it. It's like it's our homes pet chicken. My mom has chickens but our HOA wont allow us to so I bought my daughter this. She wants chickens like her grandma. It's so cute, life size, and fun. Gotta say, adults and teens think it's adorable too. It's made well and will last a while. May buy some of the other styles so it has friends.

I got this silkie stuffed toy for my brother who was recovering from surgery to remove his appendix. He loves my silkies, so I thought this would cheer him up. He thought I had brought him a real silkie from my coop at first, that's how lifelike this toy is. Highly recommend.

Nice chicken in general, but silkie chickens should have 5 toes. This one only has 4.

I bought this as a birthday present for a friend, AKA Crazy Chicken Lady. She owns all things chicken, including about 50 chickens! The second she saw this waiting on her desk she was in love! She loved how accurate it was to her silkie chickens: "Look at these blue cheeks and it even has fluff on its feet!" And she loved how soft and cuddly it is. A great gift for anyone who loves chickens. The only thing I thought was a bit off was that the wings were stitched to stay at the side of the plush instead of being flappable. But this plush was perfect for her and that's all that matters.

So I let our dogs out of the dog run while I was doing chores in the backyard. They are confined to the backyard thanks to an invisible fence. Before I let them out I checked to make sure our free-range chickens where in the clear in the front yard. And, the dogs have always been interested in the chickens but have always minded my command to leave them alone. I bet you can see where this is going. Everything was going fine until I went around a shed for only a second, I swear, but when I came back around the dogs had gotten to not just a chicken, but my daughter's absolute favorite silkie hen that she loved to pack around like a baby. Devastation. Somehow the hen left the rest of the flock, made it around to the back of the house all by herself, and tempted the dogs beyond their disciplined limits, all within 2.4 seconds. I'm telling you, there was some JFK assassination level crap going on here. Regardless, the beloved hen was dead and it was my fault. My young daughter was devastated. So I ordered this stuffed chicken and was very pleasantly surprised that it was identical to our saint-hooded chicken. My daughter loves it. I consider it a success in buying my way out of a failed father moment, at least until she wants something and reminds me...

This poor chicken arrived with stains and a big hole in her back. How on earth anyone didn't pick up on the damage is beyond me, but I was refunded so can't complain too much. The quality is poor considering all the positive reviews I have read about this brand. I want to buy another but I'm loathe to incase it too is poor quality. It's a shame because my kid would have loved it.
